The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
The total perspective vortex is nigh
Humbling indeed.

I really tried to understand the whole space / time continuum many years ago, it just made my brain hurt too much!
Very Cool!!

You didn't make an appearance in the Pub's birthday thread Algol, happy birthday for yesterday
I remember when that famous picture came out. I think it was at a meeting of the Astronomical Union. It's quite a simple concept. Space is so fast, the farther out you look with a telescopic device, the farther back in time you go. So, the pic that came back showed how the Universe looked 13 billion years ago, after it had started forming galaxies. That's confirmed by seeing some of them not fully formed yet.
Also, look how "close" to one another they are. The Universe hadn't expanded much yet.

It has been one of the craziest last few days, "Friday the 13th" came two days early for me, I won't bore you all with details but it went something like this, Great morning, work, sick kid, road trip to university to get kid, hospital until 1 in the morning, kid sent home and doing well but Dad wiped out. I’m looking forward to Saturday after work for a little birthday cheer! I did see the thread today. Thank you Nicola.

Well it depends on what universe we are discussing. Mine has grown reatly over the yast year. Or the pisical one wich only grows by a fraction every 100 years or so.
Carpe Diem
