This is my absolute favourite
I don't know exactly what it's called, but my old dance instructor wore Valentino V, and I could smell it on my clothes for days afterwards. Oh my... But to be fair, that was probably more her than the scent.

I'm ashamed to say that Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely is the next closest to arousing my interest. My wife and I must have spent a couple of hours sniffing every perfume in the shop before we finally settled on it. Even now, everything still smells like custard.

And for me, I'm an Armani man.
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.
I have 2 colognes I wear at the moment.

This has a bit of a spicy bite to it. I usually wear it if I'm going out somewhere. Not sure why I do, I am just in the habit of putting on this one of I'm going out.

This is the other. I actually have no idea what it smells like on as I cant smell it on myself. But I get the odd comment that its smells nice, so I guess its ok.

As for the girls, CK Sheer Beauty.
Flower bomb victor and Rolf Marc Jacobs dot Ralph Lauren romance
On a woman? Ciara get's my engine revving every time - I get a whiff of it on someone we pass and the wife almost has to nail my foot to the floor

Myself - I go with the old standby's - English Leather or British Sterling
I dont have favourite one but right now I am loving Gucci Guilty. It is extremely soft and sensual..at least thats how I feel wearing it.

the scent of a woman!

Ladies.....i would like your opinion of a scent i was introduced to recently...Ralph Lauren "Hot".......what do you think of it, if you know it?

In the fall, I like to layer these two scents (Jo Malone scents are meant to be layered, if you like, to create a unique personalized scent). Her fragrances are pretty amazing because they are very true to what they are named after - they're not the artificial or sugarified interpretations you often find perfumeries opting for.

First is 'Wild Fig & Cassis' which is a very clean scent that I think is quite unisex. It is very true to the product description (Inspired by breakfast in Tuscany - the moment of breaking open juicy figs, fresh from the tree - Wild Fig & Cassis is a delicious fragrance. The scent of sun-warmed figs and delicate cassis is entwined with notes of hyacinth and cedarwood, enveloping the wearer in the warmth of the Mediterranean). Really - it's fucking fantastic!

Then over top - I like 'French Lime Blossom' which gives it a more feminine touch. The description is: Inspired by a stroll along the Champs Élysées, French Lime Blossom is a romantic, full-bodied floral. The scent of sweet lime blossoms with a twist of bergamot and tarragon is evocative of the first day of spring. This is still a very clean and green floral though - I'm not fond of sickly sweet or overpowering florals because they often give me a headache. This is fresh and modern and smells great just on its own as well.

I shopped this past weekend and I must thank you & damn you in the same breath. I spent way too much!

LOL... I swear when I saw your name as the last post in this thread, I just knew you'd been lured into the Jo Malone web. I know - I still curse and bless the girl that first got me started on these fragrances. They're so amazing but that 'layering' thing can be bad for the bank account - it's so hard to stop at just one bottle! Thank god they are generous with their samples. smile

My goodness, girl! You were dead on about the Wild Fig & Cassis, but in the end I only selected two pieces from that collection. Then the salesperson had me sample the Nectarine Blossom & Honey Collection and my account lost a couple hundred bucks or so. Loved the samples and I plan to get a candle or two to add to my new obsession with the Malone folks.

Ashleigh, this is a spankable offense and if I knew you better I'd administer the punishment!

It's ok, I don't mind bending over. ;)

The Nectarine Blossom was my first as well. A friend had it in her bag at this bar one night a few years ago and spritzed me and I was hooked. Since then, the Fig is probably my favourite because it's so distinct but I also love their Vanilla & Anise and the Blue Agava during the winter. I don't usually do spicier scents, but those two are beautiful. Last winter I had a cab driver ask me what I was wearing (the Vanilla & Anise) because he loved it and was thinking of an xmas gift for his wife, so I gave him an extra sample vial I had stashed in my purse. It's like spreading the Jo Malone fever. Their Khodo Wood's collection - the Dark Amber and Ginger Lily in particular - is another amazing (and unique) evening scent. But yeah, the Nectarine Blossom is the one that pulls everyone in, I think. And I always hit the French Lime Blossom just because it's so fresh and uncomplicated.
About 35 years ago my wife found this new perfume, Opium, from Yves Saint Laurent and the first time she wore it I **Oops! Can't say that.** Well, it wasn't **Oops! Can't say that.**, really, but I wasn't going to take "No" for an answer either. Luckily she was as willing as me and helped get us in the bedroom before the kids showed up. I don't think I lasted for more than a minute for the first one, but I didn't stop there. I think I got her off 6 or 7 good ones (I wasn't real good with numbers right then), but I know I got off 4 times in about 2 1/2 hours.

She's been wearing it for 35 years now, not all the time, thank God or I'd be dead now. Worn out. But when she does I go into orbit. I have a few physical problems now, but my mind doesn't consider that when I smell it.

I have a really difficult time not getting carried away when I smell it on another woman, but it's not quite the same as when my wife wears it so I can handle it without embarrassing myself. So far.

I love that smell. I may have to write a story about that first smell because it plays like a porn movie in my head sometimes, 35 years later.
I am always a gentleman.
I can't get enough

Lol, funny you should say that because I'm telling my better half that I want the Vanilla & Anise for Christmas. I must have it.
Most days I just rely on lush brand highly scented soap, layered with lotion

One of my all time favorites!
