I got a small bottle of this recently - this is a great evening scent or something I'm going to be breaking out to wear in the fall/winter. It has notes of coffee, vanilla, orange blossom and cedarwood. I'm really liking it so far.

That has always been a favorite. It's so delicious, I want keep smelling myself. I am obsessed with Hanae Mori Magical Moon. Got it as a gift, it smells like white musk, vanilla and sugar cane. Another fave is Bvlgari Green Tea, which is just a dreamy scent.

I know for a fact that I'm gonna end up getting the full size Marc Jacobs, and probably the Tom Ford. Maybe the Chloé as well. I'll know for sure once the samples arrive.

These sampler sets are great because they include a voucher that you can redeem for any (one) full size bottle of your choice from the fragrances included in the sampler set.

This is typically how I shop for perfume. Any retailer that sells fragrances tends to have a lot going on scent-wise, so it can be overwhelming trying to sniff out something you like. And after a while of sampling, they all start to smell the same anyhow. I usually buy a sampler set, and if I like it, I buy the full size. Any I don't like, I just give away.

I also like buying sampler sets to give away as gifts. You can just toss a couple in with any gift...plus they make great stocking stuffers around Christmas time!

The Atelier perfumes are amazing, especially their Collection Azur ones.

I have the three on the left. Sud Magnolia is probably my least fave of those three though - it's beautiful but I'm not typically into florals. The Mandarine Glaciale is really nice for fall - kind of orange'y and spicy (ginger). And my fave of this line is the Figuier Ardent (creamy fig, spicy, fresh) - it could probably be considered unisex but it's absolutely gorgeous and probably in my top three fave perfumes right now.

Another perfume line I love is Juliette Has a Gun.

In particular - Lady Vengeance (for night).

and Gentlewoman (which is good for anytime). This one reminds me a lot of Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino, which is one of my fave scents ever (but soooo expensive). Gentlewoman is another from my top three fave perfumes right now.

I love since years ago Burberry's. I don't know if it is the perfume or magic is due to the first woman I smell it from. But since that moment, that perfume rocks my world each time I smell it.

My nose becomes runny and is sensitive to perfume, I get headaches too. However on a whim I was in a department store and saw Katy Perry's "Killer Queen" on display and I tested it. My nose was fine and I didn't have a headache, I loved the smell and it suits me.

I admit I actually cried because I found a perfume that worked with my body.

I don't know much about colognes and perfumes. I'm an old spice/ aqua velva guy.

I do like the smell of nail-polish remover, though, which is kind of weird, I guess.

Guerlain's Terracotta Le Parfum. This is the LE special anniversary version they came out with last year. It's now one of my all-time faves. If you like summery, beachy scents, this is really gorgeous. It's got a very solar, almost sunscreen vibe (this reminds me more of Bain de Soleil rather than the Coppertone hints of Bobbi Brown's Beach). There's some coconut, vanilla, white floral and lots of Tiare as well, so it smells like you're lying on a hot beach in Hawaii. Love.

I got one of this last year from my best friend... I loved it! Bergamot, mandarin, Succan absolute, honey, heart of velvet orchid, Turkish rose oil, jasmine and a new accord of purple orchid that grows in the wilds of southern Brazilian coast. Base of orange blossom, rose absolute, narcissus, hyacinth and heliotrope, balsam, myrrh, labdanum, sandalwood, suede and vanilla.

I've been really liking this one for spring.

Herba Fresca from Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria line.

It's really refreshing and crisp - there's mint, citrus, clover... kind of smells like a mojito.
