If your eyes are the windows to your soul, then your eyelashes must surely be the frilly curtains. Or something like that. Maybe that’s why women have sought to enhance their lashes with all kinds of weird and wonderful extensions, powders and paints since the dawn of time. But why just volumise and extend your lashes when you can adorn them with Paperself Lashes.

Inspired by the art of Chinese paper cutting and 19th century French silk bobbin lace, these incredibly intricate paper lash extensions blend elements of traditional culture with contemporary design. Think of them as unique designer art for your lashes. Failing that think of them as easy to apply (with lash glue) extensions that will ramp up your Gaga-factor tenfold.

Despite their delicate appearance, Paperself Lashes can be worn more than once, making them ideal for special occasions. Wear them to your next big soiree and guests will be spellbound. All in the eyes? Absolutely.

Fascinating to behold, these beautifully crafted ‘artlashes’ are available in five striking designs, each infused with symbolic meaning rooted in Chinese culture (it says here). Choose from Deer & Butterfly (free, beautiful and sensitive), Under the Sea (secret treasures), Peonies (happiness and good fortune), Peaches (love and romance) and Peacock (auspicious and lucky days).

Whatever the meaning we guarantee Paperself Lashes will make you the star attraction in any scenario. So what are you waiting for? Get ordering. They won’t believe your eyes!

Saw these on Firebox: http://www.firebox.com/product/5112/Paperself-Lashes
These are cool. I'd probably wear them along with a costume but not on a daily basis or in a serious way...if that makes sense.

As tiny as my lashes are, I've never gone the fake eyelash route. I'm weird about my eyes. I just recently (within the last year or so) started wearing eyeliner and mascara on a regular basis.

I think these are pretty, I've seen a few of these types of things on the web. I don't think I'd wear them though. I'm not one to wear makeup that often, as it is. I think there is a time and place for things like that, on a daily basis, isn't one of them. No matter how well they look.
These are pretty - they feel very runway, costume or art performance though. I can't imagine wearing them on a random evening out.

I've worn falsies for special events or when I want to look glammed up on a night out, but I've just gone the regular dark lash route to add some volume without looking too obvious.

Of the ones I've tried, I like the Red Cherry brand the best.
These are so fantastically beautiful. My face would have to look like the models though for me to wear them. Sigh. Too bad.
Ooh I love these...
