I'm 6'1" which is considered average for a guy. The overwhelming characteristic of women I've been involved with have been on the short side. I'm 6'2", and have been with women ranging from 5'2" to 5'11". Both extremes have their appeal, something about ravaging a petite girl is always fun sexually speaking, but I think I would prefer someone on the taller side for a long-term relationship simply because it seems kind of easier to treat a tall woman as my equal instead of constantly having to look down to find her, which invokes a more possessive/protective instinct than anything.

I am 5'-10" in bare feet and 6'-2" in heels while my boyfriend at 6'-3" barefooted. In shoes or boots, he's still taller than me by 1-1/2 to 3-1/2". I think this is perfect for me. I don't think a gal should be taller than her boyfriend or husband. If in bed, however, it really makes no difference.
My wife is 1 inch shorter than me. Seems perfect. I've had a few petite girls. Some positions seemed more difficult to get into. Short women seem to ride me better!
