I don't care about seeing others, because I don't have any either. This to me is an online fantasy world, where I come and enjoy myself away from the real world. I have shown my photo to 4 people on Lush, and I see them as all close friends of mine. I won't ask someone for their photo, because I am not so willing to show mine either. I can't ask for something, I'm not willing to do myself. I choose to keep my life private, and keep it from coming online. Those who do share, that's cool, more power to you.

I used to be the exact same way. I used to just blindly accept requests. But then I stopped. But now I don't care. I'll add pretty much anyone who requests me, unless I have a particular reason for rejecting them. Usually I deny people who add creepy messages to their requests, like "Would love to cyber fuck you some time." Other than that I don't really mind. I don't put anything personal on my profile, and if/when I do, I put limits on who does/doesn't have access to it.
The flip side of that is that when you do the blind accepting thing, everyone wants to poke/black box/ private chat you all at once, so I do most of my Lushing undetected. But even still, if someone sees me posting on forums and such, they know I'm online.

This is BY FAR my biggest pet peeve. Being PMed about something I say in the forums. The forums are there for a reason...to discuss the topic at hand in there. I have no interest in reading a PM about why something I said in the forum was wrong. I have no interest in debating outside of the forums.
