I don't wear eyeliner so sadly, I cannot be your fantasy come true. Nobody could bribe me to do that let alone "let" me do that to you. I'm assuming all that up there would be before I looked you in the eye and bit your weeny peeny off? Dream on cat.

Trinket, I am proud of you.

Sometimes it derails what could be a great topic; sometimes the topic is really stupid and probably should be derailed. We are all free to read or ignore anything and that includes stupid threads and stupid trolls. Censorship sucks.

Entertainment at its finest. Watching all of you is like watching chaos swirl down a funnel and pour out this amazing kaleidoscope of colors and tastes. Like siblings fighting over a favorite toy or wetting the bed and blaming the other. But in the end most of you would give the shirt off your back if needed.

In the brave new world of internet anonymity there will always be pretenders, always be trolls, and always be those of us who wish their lives could be as they want it and not how it really is. In every orgy someone always has to be a butt plug. That's life. Imagine how dull the orgy would be without at least one butt plug.

So here's my take. Keep your comments in the forums and it's all give and take. Bring it to my PM and it will become an issue. That is much different.

One last request.. can we PLEASE all agree to stop dragging the mods into the threads as if they somehow are responsible for every hurt feeling or perceived insult since the beginning of time. If anyone gets a pass, it's them.

Um no.

If a certain mod starts pretending to be Kelly Price again I'll drag her cat fishing ass all over the forum.

You are a dynamic personality with a lot of spirit Jack. I'm not sure why Kelly Price was an issue to be addressed. A breeze will lift a kite. A hurricane will knock it down. I would put money down that if you focused all of that energy you could keep kites flying all over this place.

Nobody was dragged into this thread. Everyone who added to it, chose to do so by his/her own free will.

Well, I would suggest that being criticized and/or suggested that in some manner they were remiss in their responsibilities, and then having them post a rebuttal, could more likely be considered being dragged in as opposed to free will. Even if such initial original maker comments were later better qualified.

You have a point. But then, it's their decisions that cause the feeling of injustice triggering all these threads. And to those that claim, only a few care about it, I'd say look at the poll. It barely exists two days, and already over 45 people have voted thus far. Compared to the number of members, that may be very few, but if you look at the number of active posters in the Think Tank, which is what this is all about, it probably is a pretty fair representation. Of those voters, 54%, an absolute majority, agree that trolling should not be allowed.

Ironically I would have thought the percentage would have been higher. I don't believe anyone disputes that trolling should not be allowed. The dispute is the subjective interpretation of what trolling is versus poking you with a stick.

There is a big difference between showing your gun and firing it. Again, having heated discussions often involve tempers and momentary lapses of judgement. An open forum will also involve some caustic personalities and people you will never invite to Thanksgiving dinner. But just because they are a pain in the ass sometimes and often very awkward to communicate with, it doesn't constitute trolling as I see it. Methinx you may see it differently. Gotta love debate.

It's easy for the three or four cry babies in this thread to ask their friends to come vote, skewing the numbers to what they want them to be. It's obvious that is all it is because hardly anyone is posting in your favor. The numbers say one thing but the actual posts in this thread say another. Those votes are all just you and simmerdownchicks friends. What the posts say and what the numbers say don't add up. You're not fooling anyone.

Keep crying.

Jack beat me to it, but he is right and I think OMKN has also indicated this earlier in the thread.

The tallies just don't add up when compared to the majority of people posting disagreeing with the result that the minority here are quoting claiming it makes the result and thus their views/opinions on the matter/thread valid and righteous.

True. Trolling, in my opinion, isn't the right label. What we're actually talking about is the policy of condoning personally attacking, insulting and bullying people to the point, they delete their entire body of work and leave lush.

I love debate, and I can deal with anyone, disagreeing with me. I'll argue until either one of us wins, or we agree to disagree. Irony, mocking opinions and arguments, and even rudeness aren't an issue for me. We don't have to be sweet to each other. But bullying, attacking on a personal level and insulting people because you don't have any smart thing left to say, or worse, just because you enjoy antagonizing people, should not be acceptable. And that's what this is all about.

So are we to take it that you are one of the three that voted Yes and you think trolling is okay ?

Anyone who doesn't think that trolling. bullying, personal attacks (call it whatever you like), doesn't take place on Lush are at best deluded. In my eyes the real question is, should it be allowed to continue ?

No, I was not one of those 3, I am not sure how you came to that assumption tbh, quite a few people have posted in here disagreeing, but you seem to have singled me out here as being one of three people out of multiple posters as doing so, why is that?

I posted at the beginning of this thread giving my views on what I thought about the thread and on no occasion have I said trolling or bullying is ok, have I??

Are you saying a bully hacked stephanie's account and deleted it? Because that was his choice and his choice alone unless he was hacked I guess. The last thing I saw stephanie post was some of his typical gibberish in a thread where some people suckered him into feeling bad about a fake death. Pretty heinous I agree, but to go and delete your account over it? And if it was because some members didn't take the fake death seriously then what exactly is he getting upset about? Is he protecting the members suckering him and lush with a fake death from other's "trolling/bullying" them? One of those members making up the fake death was even using a picture of a girl who didn't even appear to be over 14 as an avatar. A picture stolen off a christian high school group. Just vile all around.

It's a shame because I know he's probably already regretting deleting his account and will probably make a new account but he lost all his comments on stories and all that. He could have just you know, not gone into the forum if it was so upsetting to him. Instead he chose to delete his account. Chose to, no one forced him to. Like, I don't particularly like the chat rooms so I never go in them. I have only once, years ago, thought it was lame and decided that part of the site wasn't for me. Do I demand that lush make the chat rooms into something I enjoy or I will delete my account? No, because that would be ridiculous.

Your point of him deleting his account because he was being bullied is stupid, inaccurate and dishonest. He deleted his account because he demanded that my account be removed or else he was going to delete his. He didn't go through with it at first and came back. After his return I didn't say anything to him (I hardly ever said anything to him unless he started attacking me) He once again hurled a stone completely unprovoked by me, I hurled a pebble back and he got all mad again. The embarrassment of his empty threat when he came back and acting like he wasn't a spineless coward made him delete his account. Not a troll, bully or me. He clicked delete.

Who's crying? Your only responses so far, consist of childish puns, insults, groundless assumptions and gloating about winning the debate. Jack, that the majority is silent, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Having the loudest voice and the most powerful friends, doesn't make your behavior any more acceptable to that majority. And the fact, that your friends keep the competition of your back and carry you across the finish line, doesn't make you a winner.

Yet another " logical" gem of a reply from you there Jack .... Keep em up kid, you're a star. ( And proving a few peoples point while you are at it)

My bad Kiera, I didn't see your earlier post (still haven't tbh). You must be one of Patokl's or Simmerdownchicks friends that Jack reckons has been roped in to " fix" the vote then.
