Look at how annoyed some of you are getting about this thread alone. Yes it's flogging a dead horse because it never changes. It's not only one person either. I don't start forum tussles but I will fight back. I don't take kindly to others talking to me like I am dirt beneath their feet. Somehow that makes me a bad guy too. Nobody likes a smart mouthed smartass. Internet bullying IS a real thing that is punishable by law. I've never asked for anyone to be banned. I've only ever wanted to post on a thread to have some fun without being mocked or humiliated. I DO think twice before posting on some forums/threads here because I've had other members target me repeatedly on those specific forums.

I've been reported for harassment/bullying Based on much less and some of it was, in my opinion only , an absolute farce. A lot of you know I love this site. I admire and respect the moderators more than they know for doing a thankless job. I keep hearing the same thing... "Grow up. Ignore it, don't feed the troll" the advice says yes there Are trolls. Live with it. The majority of those getting offended are moderators. Because you don't know what it's like. I'm not trying to offend any mods by saying that. It's a fact. I could find another playground to play in but i don't want to. Why do I have to move on because other members think it's funny to treat me like a piece of dirt?

While I agree somewhat that blocking a member who gets under your skin and on your last nerve doesn't solve the problem... it sure as fuck cuts back on the drama and bullshit thus making the Mods' job a bit easier (not that they have an easy job to begin with.)

Blocking a shit-stirrer is a better option than leaving the site or bitching at the Mods who do what they can... even if we think they don't do enough. It was clearly said earlier by a Mod (I believe Dani though it might have been Coco, Rach, or Liz) that a lot goes on behind the scenes that we don't see.

I find those who bitch the loudest about the block are typically the ones who do the most shit-stirring.

The reporting was done by another member, not a mod, I guess. I'm curious to know what the mods concluded from those reportings and whether you were sanctioned because of them. You say you admire and respect the mods, yet you clearly don't admire or respect their decisions when they are related to your complaints.

Personally I think that if someone is a repeat offender despite the sanctions put on them, then the next sanction should probably be tougher. As a sanction implies that the mods concluded that complaints were valid, the "grow a thicker skin" argument is not in place in those cases (at least not coming from the mods). In other cases though...


It might be interesting to know of all those accused of whining, offending, harassing, bullying, trolling, blackmailing or just being hypocrites about it, whether they have been sanctioned before for their behaviour in the forums, and how often. And since Kiera insinuated that this thread was about me I'll start:
I have been in numerous heated debates where at some point a mod deemed it necessary to tell us to "cut it out", to delete some posts or even to close the thread. I've also been kicked out of a member-created chat room once by the owner (not a mod). That's it. I have never been sanctioned, or even had an official warning, for my behaviour in the forums.

How about you? How about the others in this thread?

Like I said to Ravenstar, I'm sorry. i have learned more than you think about interpersonal relationships on this site, some good, some not so good, but as long a lesson is learned I can sleep tonight. I feel very bad that this has turned into a shit show. It is my fault, I was tired of what I perceived to be partiality when I don't even know what goes on behind the scenes. Please don't blame someone else for my mistake. I'll eat the crow. Liz, Coco, Dani and especially Sprite, I'm sorry to have put you in this position. Everyone has a bad day, and it's clearly obvious I'm not perfect. My biggest flaw and best quality is that I stand up for what I believe, but sometimes I don't know when to shut the hell up.

I'm not upset with you Simmer. Trinket misread my response. She took everything I said as being aimed at her when it wasn't. I was agreeing with her in the beginning then pointing out an observation I've seen in several forum threads form several members. I didn't name any names because I was trying to NOT shit-stir (though it would be an easy list to write.)

I will stand by my statements earlier including that while the block isn't a perfect fix, it cuts back on the drama and bullshit. I never said Trinket bitched about the block though I do think she made an error about how the block worked until recently. However, that is an easy thing to misunderstand if you don't know how it works exactly. Best solution is to ask a Mod politely about the block and how it works. I would guess they would rather answer a question or two then deal with the reports of harassment or bullying... however this is just an educated guess on my part.
