Men are stupid. At least this is ad agencies think.

I have seen a trend in commercials, where the guy is made to look stupid.
Some examples:

In the Bud Light commercial, the King announces that "we are under attack" only to be corrected by the queen the ships sailing towards them are here to celebrate.

In a State Farm commercial, the teenage age boy explains about an accident (at least he is smart). The mother, in bed, without so much as a glance at the father who is
also in bed tells the boys his punishment for getting into an accident.

In a Lysol ad, the man puts the plunger he just used to unclog a toilet on the kitchen counter.

There are are examples.
So, we're finally getting around to truth in advertising!

Seriously, though, what's your beef? Do you find this "trend" offensive? Do you not see the humor in them?

I'd suggest that sexism (and just about every other -ism) has been rampant in advertisements for as long as ads have been running, so I've no problem with having it turned on me for a change.
Okay, you've just proved their point! Your handle is Hasabrain, but you left out the word 'what' in your subject line! Case closed.
