Conversely, whatever one’s age the desire for sex increases the longer you have gone without it. Now I’m older the most here, still with each passing day the urge to get it on grows.
So you “young ones” especially those of you that don’t have S.O. must be getting incredibly desperate, frustrated. Do you sleep well? Do you dream of sex? Do you flirt with the checkout girl at the supermarket

You're making a lot of sweeping generalisations about people's sexuality. Not all young people have a very high sex drive, nor do I necessarily agree with your general assertion that "the desire for sex declines with age".
I know some young people who are like monks and completely happy in life and I know some horn dogs who will jump anything moving and are unhappy. So it depends. I tend to be very horny all the time but I don’t fuck anything with a cock. I’m picky. I choose what I like. If I can’t find what I want then I come home and take matters into my own hands lol.
I was always pretty horny in my younger days. Still can be at 55 though it comes in fits and starts. I can be almost ace for a few weeks, then my libido kicks back in and I'm relieving daily for a while.
