I'm in agreement, at least in the USA, that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And has every right to express that opinion. ( Actually I believe it should be that way in all countries, but we know that won't become a reality anytime soon. ) But they are not entitled to their own facts. And should do research on SPECIFIC events before they express their opinion on that SPECIFIC event. If their opinion is in a more general scope of a subject it should be expressed that way.

During the expression of one's opinion in a forum such as these here on LS, there should be no place, nor should it be allowed, for someone that has a different opinion to begin to defame or slander, and bully someone because they express a different opinion!!!!!. There are a few people here that can't express their opinion without resorting to name calling and other defaming remarks and statements about those that see things differently than they do. Most other sites that I have been on where there are forums will not allow such childish behavior.

Actually no. I started this one before the other one. I just like to ask questions that will make people think about their answers. I am always curios to see whats really on someones mind. And the truth be told I thought of this thread because I was reading another one that I was not involved with. The opinions were getting pretty intense.

I do not take offense to opinions. I welcome them. If I didn't I would not ask for them.

I interpreted it differently. The response to me saying he’d started both threads the same day was “Actually no. I started this thread before the other one. “ I didn’t say anything to him about which thread was started first. Does it really matter?
