I think the original question was intended to mean romantic/sexual love with a spouse or partner. But as a number of people have pointed out, there are also many other types of love - love for parents, children, siblings or other family and love for friends. Each of these are done simultaneously and to varying degrees. As far as romantic love, I think it is possible to love more than one person equally but differently. Not every person is capable of this, but I have found out there are some that are. One person may fulfill certain needs, while a second person will fulfill other needs. There are also people who, while perhaps not able to love more than one person at a time, are willing to share the person they do love with another. (The problem here is that both people must know about the other and be willing to share the polyamorous one or it is not an honest relationship with either.) Again, not every person is capable of doing this, but it does work for some. Me personally? I am not sure I could love more than one person at a time, but I think I could share.

Can you be in love with two people at the same time? Probably, but i've never been able to do so. I think each of us can love a lot of people (our lovers, friends, families) but if i understand what you're getting at i can't imagine it however much i'd like to.

Yes you can, but that doesn't mean the love will have the same meaning with each one. I think I like the term, in lust, better for most cases that involve sexually driven relationships labeled as being in love.

Two? I have three women whom I have strong feelings for. The are in different towns. One I visit during business near her, another visits here for business every few weeks. The third I often work with and see several times a week and msg daily. I don't have sex with any of them more than once a month. Those three know about each other, but don't have a lot of curiosity about the other women. Also, have a deep friendship with a ex lover of fifteen years.
