good day folks

I have been a Lushie now since about 2013, changed names and cancelled accounts but always returned here.
Seen may changes, some good, some bad. One of the most recent additions for the better is the Soft Sensual Visual room founded by e wonderful Camillaa as a private room and only open when she or her trusted friends were present to see over it,but as it got more popular then the site admin stepped in to take it over and run it.
This sadly has led to a decline in the original ethos and culture of the room, one where you felt safe and and free to talk with friends, sensual photos being posted with nothing hard core pornographic.
There is still a feeling of being amongst friends and i have found recently that it is the only room i really enjoy being in. Camillaa along with Angelworthy, Golf_Nut and Airtrafficgirl do an amazing job of looking after it but they can't be there all the time and because it is now an open public room the standards are declining.
What i ask for is that you take it back to being semi private, only open when appointed trusted members are present to maintain the stance of no unwanted whispering and rudeness towards others and no graphic sex clips or pics.
I am sure this is possible and i ask you to consider doing this as a trial for a set period.
All the rooms could do with some better monitoring to be honest, the abuse i have received recently either commenting on juvenile images or bots/spammers posting has been horrendous.
There seems to be a culture manifesting itself of anything is allowed with no control or censorship, whilst this is a sex site and we are all here for our needs and desires there still needs to be ethics, morals and standards or we fall into anarchy and the site will possibly implode.

Please consider my comments. I know Camillaa is in talks with you about the eway forward with this particular room so i hope you look into it seriously.

Many thanks for everyone reading this.

Thank you for your post Mark.

First and foremost there is no reason why the previously member created and moderated room, that you refer too, cannot co-exist for the period that it is open with the Lush public variant as and when someone wishes to create it.

In terms of site moderation please understand that all the moderators on the site are volunteers and give up some of their free time to help. We will never achieve 24/7 chat room coverage.

The rooms should be largely self-moderating given the report options that everyone has and certainly in the last few weeks we have attempted to make the members more aware of those:

https://forum.lushstories.com/yaf_postst73671_Reporting-a-member-or-an-image-in-the-Chat-Rooms--Help-us-to-help-you.aspx

The introduction on the chat room page has also been updated:

‘For your safety and enjoyment they are regularly moderated. However, in addition all chat room users can report a member or an image that they perceive is breaking the site and/or room rules (as described in the room description). Please help us to help you by using these report features as and when you see fit. Details of these features, along with other information that you may find useful, are documented in the Chat Forum’.

Having said the above the existing site chat room moderation team are trying to spend more time in the Soft Sensual Visuals room.

Users, like yourself, can open a room and can moderate it too.
I haven't visited that room since it was birth by Lush but must admit, that you yourself can be rude to users through whisper or your whisper becomes public then you leave room. I should have taken screenshot to back up what I'm saying but didn't.
Yes, recently there's been bots blasting the rooms and there's a report button, which both of us have used.

You can always report a user who isn't posting images that fall under the guidelines for such a room then block them so you don't allow them to ruin your lush experience.

In saying that, you could block me too if you don't wish to see the imagery that's harsh but that doesn't break any lush rules.

Remember to not allow other users to ruin your lush experience.

So the block button seems to be your friend--use it.

I visited the room when it was Camillaa ran it. I use it now. But in recent visits, there has been a change in tone, in terms of what certain users find offensive/explicit. . Images that I posted when it was a user set up group are now deemed out of keeping with the rooms theme. I abide by any feedback I’m given, but I feel it’s worthy of discussion.

Speaking purely from a personal point of view, I think the key word in the rooms description is sensual. That’s subjective, obviously. There are images of cock sucking, cunnilingus and fucking that can be intensely sensual. Far more so than the ubiquitous images of plastic women with their genitals spread wide for all to see.

As a former mobile site user, I think I’m reasonably good at reading the mood of a room - we had to be to decide what was appropriate to post in the lounge.

I think the mods have a near impossible job. Sensuality is subjective and that can only lead to clashes.

I think if some users are going to object to any image that involves two people in a sexual act, the room is, sadly, doomed. I posted one last night of a couple passionately kissing. The man had his hand inside the woman’s underwear and the hand was moving. No genitalia was exposed. But according to some, this was fucking snd therefore not allowed.

There seemed to be a determined effort from some to have a go at the mod in the room and to continue to complain to/about me about what I’d posted. Even after I had apologised for any offence my post had caused and I had stated I wouldn’t post it (or similar) in the future. To quote Vic and Bob ‘they wouldn’t let it lie’!

I don’t know what the answer is. Maybe the only answer is for lush admin to wash their hands of the room, as you can’t please all of the people, all of the time.

Lush had to remove room because you children don't know how to behave.

Hopefully the new room last cause the description is in plain English.

For a few reasons the room has been rebranded and as part of that we have been more specific about the room rules.

I visited the room and users were still asking is that pic allowed?
The description is perfect so I am still confused as to why users were nitpicking.

I, of course didn't post anything but I hope this room will thrive.
The only thing I could suggest to those users were to report image.

(plus, users want their hands held--too needy.)

Careful making it public knowledge that you do not post in that room. The risk is it becomes the only room people use.

I am sorry but I just could not resist that.

Hey Emilyboo, I think that your image sounds like it was very sensual and erotic and not explicit! I would not have had an issue with it and likely would have commented to you how much I liked it.

In my opinion, what has screwed up that room is the rule that there's no genitalia "close-up or explicit" and the self-appointed genitalia police. The no close-up or explicit genitalia infers that sensual, erotic posts that display genitalia are welcome, but hardcore is not.

So, that makes it confusing as some there take that so literally, that they berate others for posting anything showing a little genitalia even in an artistic and sensual manner that is NOT at all explicit. Hopefully, the admins will remove the genitalia prohibition because those images/gifs can be very sensual and should be allowed. Again, that's my opinion.

The original room was the Lady Luck by rockabigirl. That was an awesome room, but also ruined for many of us by this same type of cliquish, snotty, and holier-than-thou attitude by a few members. I always felt welcome in the Lady Luck and in Camillaa's room that followed, but only sometimes in this new one.

I don't know why we can't all act like the adults we are supposed to be. That room should be welcoming to all and not feel like it's an exclusive clubhouse.

If one only wants one's friends to be allowed into a room, then as others have said, one can simply create a private chat room and just invite one's friends.
