Yeah, I have to say I don't find that very inviting... You can set up a private chat room and have a password, there's no need to be all "I have the power" about it??
Hey, Shy... Remember that time you and me and CrazyDiamond had that private chat room that day?
Mazza's Nasty Place???
Ha, now THAT was a room that needed password protection, huh, HUH???
There is actually no reason for that room to be created like that. The chat rooms are PUBLIC unless they are locked.

First of all if someone doesn't want to be in a public chat room they should create a private room, give it a password and lock it. It's that simple. Then send a message to all your friends with the password, or just the ones you want to chat with. You don't need to be insulting to other people. You don't need to let anyone in the room except the people you want. You don't have to make threats. Anyone with a Lush account can create a private chat room. Having one doesn't make you all that special. The only thing special about any of the private chat rooms are the people in them. If they're surly and mean I don't want to be in there anyway.
Don't be mean, people.
http:// I could be wrong but we have told members if they make their own room that they can kick or allow whom they want in, whether it's right or wrong. People have the right to go in them or not, it's their choice. I'm not trying to be harsh but if a member makes a room as long as it falls in lush guidelines, it's their room.
No one can make you jealous, angry, vengeful, or greedy -unless you let him.

There are a few regular people that make open rooms that have a list of to do's and don'ts, warning of being kicked and who is allowed in and who is not. How was this room any different?
I agree with everybody else this type of room would suck how would you meet new friends who you never know you might just like a lot
It's a nice suggestion shylass.
When making a private room there should be the ability to invite all of your friendslist and not only one friend at a time, it can be tiresome if you want to invite a whole lot of friends.
As for public usermade rooms, I think they still have the right to ban a person they do not like/can't get along with from their own room. However taking out everyone but the people on your friendslist do seem a bit.. as stated before, unfriendly.
I think the reason for Shy's suggestion is because the manner in which the room was labeled. It is not that she thought that one shouldn't be allowed to place restrictions and rules on the room. I happened to have seen the wording and it was harshly worded and lacked some, well I won't go there. People should watch how they say things.
public means all ...thank God for the hammers
If not public put a lock on it
simple. "we all need to get along"
