This happened to me ... long ago. A lady of more resources than I invited me to spend the day with her. We spent a very nice day together, sightseeing, dining, talking ... but at the end I was not emotionally ready for the way she wanted the day to end. I truly believe it began as a platonic plan in her mind, but her desires for more than that quickly became apparent to both of us.

I am married now and would not consider this an option.
I am not against it in principle. I think with two adult, consenting people it could be a wonderful thing.
This may sound very hollow when I write it on lush - but our society tries to sexualize EVERYTHING. I think sex is so incredibly special we should leave a little space for it not to be the center of attention all the time.

I've noticed that the OP thanks those who agree with what she would like the answer to be (yes, of course I would happily go out with a woman if she paid me!), but pretty much just disdain and accusation to those who present a different opinion. Please realize that when you ask a question, you will not always get the answer you want. That is no reason to go on attack. You asked, and people answered.

I have absolutely no stake in this thread, or in the answers provided, but that sort of two-faced attitude is bothersome. No, I don't know the OP except from her posts. Those don't necessarily instill in me the warm and fuzzies.

I agree! I also don't know the OP except by reading her posts, and like you I've noticed this in every thread she has started.

Suck it up buttercup, there are a million different opinions out there to share. The nifty thing about opinions is they are not facts, so there is no right or wrong.

If a couple people on a website can make, "my heart, just got blacker" perhaps you should be speaking to a different audience, like a mental health professional. I've read your posts in dozens of threads. Either you are a narcissist in search of sympathy, or you need to be treated in a professional setting. Either way, its tiresome to the people who have responded to be constantly berated by your chosen method of self- flagellation.
