A friend sent me this pic the other day - apparently this girl won some critical "Best Ass of the Year" contest.

I actually know several women who would be self-conscious about an ass this big. I have one friend in particular who is always stressing about her ass because it's disproportionately bigger than the rest of her, so she's always looking for clothes to make it look smaller.

And when a guy says, "wow, she has the perfect ass", it seems like the asses that this statement can apply to tend to vary a lot.

So, for the sake of the poll, pick your favourite shape or describe what you like - small, big, jiggly etc. Maybe you like more than one kind or it doesn't matter that much to you, but if you were to create your one perfect woman, how would you draw her?

I've added a random chart but feel free to post your own pics if you want to be more specific about it.

I've never had an 'ideal ass' in mind, but I appreciate a good ass for what it is. Some people think it's because I'm bi, but there's nothing sexual about it. I just appreciate a nice ass. And it ranges from the cute little tight/fit asses (they look adorable in yoga pants) to the colossal Kim Kardashian-type asses....a badonk, if you will.

I love them all...except the flabby/saggy types and the flat ones. Those aren't that fun to look at. I don't mind a jiggle (I enjoy a good ass jiggle), but I don't like the ones that remind me of cottage cheese....or a cheese board.

When I was younger, I remember this specific quote from an interview with Kim Kardashian. I just found it again to quote verbatim:

Q: EVER WORRY ABOUT LOSING YOUR PERKY POSTERIOR?
Kim Kardashian: "I have this towel trick. When I get out of the shower, I drape the towel at my waist. It just sits on my butt and stays there the whole time while I do my makeup or use it to wipe off stuff. But when I lose weight, it falls off, so then I know I have to start eating."

I don't know why but the image has always stuck in my head. I have tried this trick so many times and always fail miserably. Embarassed

Finally an opportunity to write an anthropological essay about asses! geek

I chose 'Petite and proportionate' in the poll, and my preference according to that chart would be a fun mix between Petite, Bubble, Standard and Heart.

But since a picture is worth a thousand words:

A lot of the guys I know would also choose a similar ass as a preference. In my honest opinion, this 'Best Ass of the Year' girl won the contest mainly because her ass stands out and turns heads, not really because it's the most attractive. Some guys do like a larger ass though, but I don't think they're a majority.

Obviously, a guy's preference concerning asses will most likely be linked to the kind of female bodies he prefers in general. Guys who love petite girls will likely enjoy a firm petite ass, and guys who like fuller women will obviously appreciate a fuller ass. Myself, I absolutely adore a combination of firm and delicate features in women, and that applies to asses too.

At times though, especially when watching porn, I do enjoy an ass that stands out a little more, but that's mostly for the 'kink' factor. The same applies to breasts, in fact; as much as my preference is generally for firm/petite/natural breasts, I also enjoy watching a big pair of fake boobies bouncing every once in a while.

An actress that I like for her awesome 'bubble butt' is Jessie Rogers (32D-25-37), especially since a lot of her scenes feature anal sex with oil. From a purely visual, highly-focused, unclad viewpoint, I'd have to go with SereneProdigy's "...fun mix of petite, bubble, standard, and heart." With a much wider view including personality, body type, etc., the "perfect ass" could also be the hot tamale, bumper, amazon, tear drops, shelf...even wide load and badaonkadonk. It often comes down to perspective and proportion.
