ahhhhh... WMM you're such a pessimist.. TaintedRainbow was just a poor innocent girl trapped in the body of some fat guy living in his mother's basement in Cleveland...

Another faker BUSTED! LOL I find this thread and all the posers on Lush just hilarious. Maybe that's why my profile gets so many views my pics are really ME! Yep all those curves are really mine and enhanced by nothing more than my huge sweet tooth and many trips to the gym! LOL I wonder how many hot girls are really fat guys in their basements in Cleveland and how many muscular guys with huge cocks are really little chubby virgin nerds? As long as you realize it's just a fantasy I guess it's ok but I only keep the real ones! Yes I can tell you first hand Stephenrocca and Cris are both real all their pics are really them and I'm a lucky bitch with the hottest guys on Lush! hehehe

I'm not in Cleveland but I do live in an old rusty lawn shed behind an abandoned house in Beaver, Idaho.. wish I was hot.. but I'm not.. oops.. gotta run.. someone needs a rake and some chainsaw oil...

Haha, everyone trying to convince me now that they're real lushies?
Why Cleveland btw? LOL
It's a pretty shitty city imo but they did have cool metal shows of tours that didn't visit Pittsburgh. So I drove to Cleveland several times during my US time.
Once I went to visit a friend there who was baby sitting her cousin. Went to a museum there and while we were discussing whether or not to actually get tickets, an employee walked up to us and offered 3 tickets for our "family of 3". Obviously much appreciated, even if we weren't involved beyond the friendship level.

Anyway, I do observe the lush boards, profiles and chatrooms to some extent so obviously there's some more suspects on my flushies list. None of those have posted in this thread (yet?) though.

Painter, I think we need to start calling you "The Plumber" now as you continue to "unflush" the "flushies"...

I for one, only feel bad if there are some genuinely disturbed people out there that might end up turning to the vodka and razor blades over being outcast from Lush...

Anyway, I keep my pics private (and heavily cropped). I don't really want the attention.. it ends up being more annoying than anything else.

For the record, I am NOT Steve Martin or Dan Aykroyd. But I do look kinda like John Belushi.

Here's the thing... You know how I just said I LOOK LIKE John Belushi? Well, that's the truth. It's entirely possible that Tainted could have just looked LIKE Twiggy, but she clearly WASN'T Twiggy (or if she was she was lying about her age). And she couldn't have been all those different people on her profile, all of whom she claimed to be.

I actually think that Tainted WAS a woman, and probably a slender woman. Not a "fat guy in Cleveland" as has been said here. And here's why... Why would a fat guy in Cleveland or anywhere else fish for compliments like that? That's a very feminine move if you ask me. I don't think fat male posers care much about whether other guys prefer skinny or curvy girls. I mean I just don't think that's keeping them up at night, you know. But for a very skinny woman, body issues might plague her, and prompt her to ask such a question...

It doesn't matter though. She was a liar, and she didn't have to be. She said the photo of Twiggy from 1968 was a recent photo of her, and that so were all the photos of various women on her profile. When all she had to say was she looked LIKE those women in some way. For example, "I'm skinny like this", "I have hair like this", "my nose is like this", etc. That would have been fine!

I think a lot of us, myself included, don't want a photo of ourselves posted to sex sites, whether it's because of our jobs or our families or whatever. That's fine. But honestly, don't lie about it. Just say you look kinda LIKE this or that, people will get the general idea! But if you lie and say you ARE this person or that, you've crossed the line. Not only does it insult people's intelligence, you're actually messing with the reputation of someone else.

And then there's the fact that the photo in particular she used was such a famous piece of art. As a photographer myself I have great respect for the art of photography. I'm sure Mr. Lategan didn't want his work being used in such a way and neither did Twiggy. And that was the proverbial "straw that broke a camel's back" for me. That's why I broke loose and called BS here.

I'm glad I did, though. Let this be an object lesson for all you would-be flushies out there... Come clean! Don't say you ARE someone you're not, say you look like someone you do. Now you're not a liar, or in line to become the next Flushie Of The Month!

thepainter and I had this discussion a couple days ago about Rainbow. I noticed the inconsistencies in her pictures. When I looked at that link he provided, I was shocked and at first thought it was just a coincidence. I decided to look through the photos someone more and found another photo that was taken from that site. I found that to be pretty interesting.

But you've seen my pics and I don't look like anywhere near that lol. Post a gorilla pic and it shall be much closer to how I really look.
Now of course a gorilla doing your plumbing isn't very trustworthy but a gorilla painting might work.

I am the fellow in the photo below. Yes...I have a lampshade for a head. I am, Mr. Dim Bulb.

Many of you will outshine me, but. You know that's my $35,000.00 set of smiling teef.

I also own a 24 inch long paintbrush, with a 5 inch thick spread.

Top that.

And, I can clean glass with just a paper towel and my 100% pure, virgin saliva!

Ok since this went from "Skinny or Curvy?" to "Flushie" I guess I will come clean myself: to begin with sorry I don't look like Charlie Brown, even thou my top is losing it's hair daily. Also my eye sight is worse than CB's so I wear glasses cause I am (but, not quite there yet, but close) and yes some of my friends here call me 'old boy' but I can honestly say I'm not as old as the real Charlie Brown.
Now everything on my profile is of truth. And I will get right to my point, My marital status says I am married, but this last November-April that status was gravely going to the 'Big D' and there was a misunderstanding with a few Lushers and friends here as well. I did not state during this time that I was in a separation process or of an actual divorce. I misled a certain young lady here saying that I "was" married but I was no longer. I hurt this young lady when I said it was over between the two of us, because things with my wife and myself have been on reconcile. That is all I will say on that. I wish to have my privacy. Back to this young lady. Her and I have discussed this situation in length and as of this post all is forgiven and we remain friends. And this is all I will say on this, I wish to have my privacy on this as well.
Now to others here that got involved I wish to say I'm sorry and I will work very hard as well in my to regain their trust, respect, love and friendship. You all know who you are. I Promise.
Now with that out in the open and I do feel much better. I wish to come back to the reason of this change to the forum I wish to give out two special awards that I did chat with a friend here about and they agreed that 'TaintedWTFyourNorainebow' get's these awards...

Lets not get nasty about it.

Above all else, I find it amusing. But sad too. A gamut of emotions you could say.

Any of you bother to ask yourselves why someone would be seeking this kind of elaborate attention? For some trying to be someone other than themselves is a coping mechanism. A necessary one. Must be humiliating enough for her to be exposed this way without all the hurtful comments that followed. You should all try a lil something called compassion.

As nicola said, it's funny AND sad. We can only speculate as to why she wanted the attention. Of course there could be severe psychological reasons but in that case she should seek professional help. And of course she could've been a Mary Shieler: http://www.belch.com/blog/2007/11/28/mary-shieler-cybersexed-brian-barrett-to-death/
Kinda surprised none of the Americans picked up on this when I first mentioned it.

It may be harsh but someone lying about their looks/identity online makes it kinda hard to give compassion. I've been around long enough to know that it often doesn't fare well to be too goodhearted and try to help someone like this.

I have one basic rule I try to follow.. give people the space they need to be themselves.. just like water, at some point they will find their level... we all use avatars and the security of our screens to present only that part of us we want everyone else to see.. nobody in here is 100% honest.. where's the fun in that? it's more fun to be someone else for that small portion of day we can set aside for enjoyment.. if TaintedRainbow escaped to Lush for just a small moment of her life.. well.. what better place to come to than Nicola's house... we're all guests here.. only Nic gets to forgive.. the rest of us get to forget.. I for one hope Rainbow comes back as herself this time..

Yes BigRod you have nice rule and I agree with most things you say but she just didn't have to lie about it and she was very alaud and couraged about it. She didn't just using fake avatar like most of us do she was trying to fool us thinking we are stupid enough that we wouldnt figured it out, she was playing us. And that is what I personally resent her..

Well one thing is for damn sure- if she comes back she isn't telling anybody she used to be Tainted Rainebow! lol. So that means you might be talking to her without knowing it. I liked her, or who I thought she was, when I talked to her, but she was also a little different- so we will see if it shines through as the same person if she ever comes back as 'someone else'.

Talking to somebody the other day and seeing the comments on this thread- makes you realize how hard you make it on yourself to pretend to be somebody else- the pics part of it was just stupid- but as far as telling people about yourself, when its not really yourself but an imaginary person, then keeping all of those lies straight when you tell different people- how is that fun? Oh well, she had other issues so I'm sure thats part of it too.

I hope she didn't take a bunch of pills after this- and instead focuses on whatever it was in her real life that she wanted to escape by pretending to be somebody different.

And what if 'she' created a new profile with a whole different story? No one would know, right?

Just goes to show that you always need some common sense and a fair dose of sceptism when chatting to people online. Sooner or later the truth comes out anyway. It always does.

Having used AOL for many years and both enjoying and enduring hundreds of private chat sessions with dozens of people, mostly women (I can only really assume, as I never met anyone in person...who I chatted with)...I too am often quick now to speculate about some of the personal stories I read, typed in my direction.

A great many of those conversations, I allowed to continue and indeed encouraged. The people telling me their tales were pretty good story tellers. Were they wasting my time, or entertaining me?

I've received hundreds of photographs from those chat partners, many were obviously stolen from elsewhere on the 'net or photoshopped and cropped so amateurishly, they were quickly surmised to be ploys. I never pointed out to any of them..."Hey, I have seen this woman before and you cannot be her -or- are you?"

Why ruin their fantasy?

In the case of this most recent Flushie, I sometimes wondered about the chosen username. It seemed to imply to me that the person behind it, was aware of something she (or) he, wanted to hint at for those who might come into contact with her or his writings and comments.

How many tainted rainbows have you ever seen?
How many well made males, have you ever come across?

Some people are lonely and alone, Painter. Some people are making quite an effort to reach out to someone, anyone...any sandbar in the river, just by getting online and joining a community.

I won't be piling on those souls. They have their reasons and they are not harming me. Often, they entertain me.

I would talk to her.....

I hope she comes back. I will give her a chance to explain. Sometimes we are too quick with the judgements and too stingy with the forgiveness. I have never known anyone I couldn't forgive, no matter what they've done.

So if you are lurking Taintedrainbow..... chin up girl!!! The world isn't as harsh as it seems.
