Should I be offended?

I have been advised to Ask The Guys, so here goes:

I have recently acquired a new 'mate' and his behaviour is quite new to me.

He has no trouble getting hard very quickly, which I know is obviously very good news, however the part that I'm curious about is this...

If we stop briefly to change positions, or just stop to catch our breath etc, then he instantly starts to masturbate himself... now I would have assumed, that he really shouldnt need to do that just to maintain his erection?

I am right, am I wrong???

I don't want to quiz him in case I am blowing this out of all proportion, but it kind of feels that maybe the idea of me, or the prospect of what is to follow isn't enough to keep him hard.

Any comments gratefully appreciated.
Maybe he just likes to jack off with your lubrication around his stiffy?
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
1) Maybe he's so excited that he wants constant stimulation and he does it without thinking.

2) If he likes his drugs and alcohol he might have trouble maintaining his erection.

3) Sometimes guys don't feel like fuckin but we aren't going to say no so he might not be too into it when he does that.

4) Hes seen pornos where the guys do that and he thinks it's what you're supposed to do.

There could be hella reasons why he's doing it. You shouldn't worry about it too much.
Depends on how long you take between breaks.
Personally, it strikes me as odd. But when it comes to sex, one person's "odd" is another's huge turn-on. So, if it really has you concerned, why not just ask him why he does it? He's the only one who will really know the answer.
This is just a stab in the dark, but maybe he's used to feeling the tightness of his hand, etc.
Perhaps you might view it as a compiment in that it felt so good, and he is so into it, that he can't go without keeping it going while shifting around.... It is not necessarily a sign that he is afraid of losing it.

Then again, perhaps if you are being the aggressive one, suggesting things, perhaps he is a bit intimidated and he is somehow losing it. Egos are such fickle things....
Thank you for all your responses.

I think I may have to gently approach the subject with him, being mind-ful of his ego of course.
sounds like to me he watches to much porn, guys are always jerking themselves in between sex acts and or changing positions .
LOL - some great comments - but it could be that it's just each to his own and he enjoys the continued stimulus. If he does encounter a problem with erections ...or maintaining them ...there are a number of reasons; most of them not a serious issue ...but if you have a narrowing of arteries (build-up of colestral ...etc) it could be a tell-tale sign in not being able to maintain or achieve erections
Conny-sure thanks for your comments. I think the maintaining the erection thing could be the problem... and I think your suggestion of the arteries problem could be a real possibility. He had lead a pretty un-heart-healthy lifestyle in the past.

May suggest he has a bit of an MOT with the doctor,

Thanks again!
