Yes, those feelings seem very accurate. Not like an itch that needs to be scratched. More like an bellyache that needs to be rubbed.

To disconnect the internal from the external for a moment, the external feels like something is crawling around in your pants. Like if you didn't know from the internal sensations that it was growing, you would swear it was a warm blooded creature of some sort rolling around.
