Because of retirement, or they moved out of the area, or a number of other normal reasons, I've had to change doctors several times in the past fifteen years.

For months, there was a single male doctor in the county accepting new patients.

I finally found a new (male) doctor but just got a letter that he is moving his practice to next county, a ninety minute drive for me.

The website for my medical plan kept suggesting female doctors, almost all of them quite young (well 30 for me is young). They are also pretty (the website had a face photo for every doctor).

I'm sure she would be professional about it, but I haven't had a young woman near me since I was young.

Everyone I know who has been in the military has had a finger wave. This story is a no-shitter there for a true sea tale.

Diver’s Physicals

Once upon a time, back in the dark ages of the 1970's, all the Navy Divers were required to take yearly diving physicals, which included a rectal examine. Most of the divers in those days were crusty characters that were screwed, blued and tattooed, fouled mouth cretins. The type of man you would not take home to meet your mother. At one command the annual physical was being conducted by an older DMO (Diving Medical Officer now Undersea Medical Officer) who had been around the block more than a few times.

The divers were lined up wearing tee shirts, flip-flops and nothing else. The diving dick smith also known as DMT (Hospital Corpsman trained in diving medicine aka Diving Medical Technician) passed out one surgical glove to each diver and instructed them to hand the glove to the DMO as he came to them.

The DMO approached one of the older, crustier; barnacle assed divers and this diver thought he could avoid the finger wave by telling the DMO, "Sorry Doc, but I've lost my glove." The DMO didn't blink an eye as he said, "That's all right; I've lost my KY, bend over and spread ‘em."

The rest of divers made sure they had their glove.

To answer your question: I've had one by female Doctor and even a female Nurse Practitioner. I've also had urethra scope (is that right I called it a bore scope) by a female Urologists.

Yep. It wasn't any more fun than with a male doctor.

My very first prostrate exam was by a female doctor. It was at the Armed Forces Entrance Exam Center. One of the medics waved me out of the line and directed me to follow the doctor into her office. I had no idea why she wanted me to drop my pants and bend over. I do remember crayon drawings on the wall in front of me, presumably from her children. & suddenly her finger was deep inside WTF!!!

No i havent but did have a very sexy female doctor check me over for suspected appendicitis a few years back.

She was the most stunning female.doctor i have seen in my life and well she made my dick hard, think she was a bit embarrased but said casually said dont worry always seems to happen, i replied not surprised you are dead gorgeous and we both blushed.

After some further tests had to have another examination but this time it was lets just say a very sour faced sister but the sexy doctor was close by and nothing happened no rise. She looked at me and i looked at her and we both had a little giggle.

Once i left, i went back with a box of choccies for the doctor, ended up having her number and spent the best part of a few months being privately examined sucked and fucked was totally out of this world.

Things got complicated and we parted but still have each others numbers and catch up every so often as friends and have the odd benefits too.

I agree 1000%. Hate prostate checks, no matter who is doing them.

Same. I have a female doctor that's our regular practitioner, does all of our checkups, etc, and she's done it a few times. The slender fingers are probably the one advantage, but still a bit embarrassing and no fun.

It does create a few opportunities for humor, however. On one occasion she said, "We haven't done a prostate check the last couple times, do you want to do that?"
I replied, "Well, 'want to' may be a bit strong, but I guess we should." Got a laugh from her and the nurse.
On another occasion I asked if she'd found anything and she sort of laughed and said, "Yes, but it's all normal." I said, "Damn, I was hoping maybe you'd found the TV remote I lost."

Still, I can't imagine, given my dread of prostate exams, being female and having to go to the gynecologist. Yikes, ladies!

Ha! Yes. And it is not a pleasurable experience at all. Given the context, I can't imagine becoming turned on.

I generally prefer women docs to men docs. I don't know why. I have more women friends than men. I guess I tend to trust women more. And I definitely think women tend to be more interesting than men.

Is that sexist?

I have had a couple attractive women docs, and it wasn't a problem (I vaguely recall debating asking one of them out, but never did).

Now, therapists are another matter entirely smile

A female doctor once. When I protested she silenced me with by asking "Do you really want a male doing that to you?"

I had a female family doctor but only for a couple years before we moved to another city. Nice lady and was in partnership with two other docs so had backup when she went on vac. Don't recall her doing a rectal. I was still fairly young then (early thirties) so maybe it wasn't indicated yet. Probably did a hernia check at some point but I don't recall it being a big deal.

One thing to remember, guys, they usually have slimmer fingers and smaller knuckles.

Way better than getting one from a male doc and, halfway through it as he's poking around inside there, realizing he has a hand on each of your hips...

As mentioned above, our family doc is a woman. It makes no difference. Other than the usual awkwardness of it, really, the worst thing is having to walk out across the crowded waitng room (multi-doctor clinic) to the restroom with what feels like about 12 ounces of KY squelching around between your cheeks. Ugh! Invariably wet undies for the ride home, too.

Had a hot young woman Doc, she was treating me for a chronic condition and we were always joking about something. One time she was doing a prostrate exam and I said careful doc that precious equipment your messing with she cupped my balls and said what do you call these as she press my p-spot. I was blushing as she handed me a who box of tissues and said time to clean up.

A couple of years ago as I went from Doc to specialists to surgeon, every visit, a finger up the bum. Female and Male doctors - including a Doc with bananas for fingers. I can vouch it is the least sexy thing in the world. I've had more than fingers up there in my time too, that was sexy.

Had a hernia check too by a female Doc, got one remark everything was 'tidy' there once (all shaved).

It was a hernia and a golf ball sized lump, benign. All fixed up.

My family dr is an attractive woman with a good sense of humor. I have a family history of prostate cancer so it has been part of my yearly physical. After the hernia and prostate check were done she said "I can step out of the room while you get dressed" I smiled and said "You've seen every part of me possible, me covering it back up shouldn't be embarrassing" we both got a good chuckle from that
