Most people (like me with a typical 'mid-west' accent, if you want to call it that) don't think we have an accent, but that everyone else does! That being said, if a girl had the right 'timbre' to her voice, I find most different accents to be very sexy - I've recently (through Lush, thanks Nicola!) developed a fondness for English spoken with a Dutch accent and of course the 'Southern Belle' accent and British/Australian accents have always seemed hot. I dated a girl with a sexy, very thick'Southern Belle' accent for a while and when I mentioned that I loved her accent, she retorted, "What accent?"

I am okay with accents - they actually do not have much effects on me. Actually I myself is not a native speaker of English and during my learning (now I can use English at a near native level) my accents changed a lot. From an accent that is a lot affected by my native language to a semi-British accent and now an American accent that is a mix of Tenessee and California.

I suppose this depends on what your personal accent or mode of pronounciation is as everybody has an accent even people from the U.S.A. The accent of my home area I've been told appeals to US citizens however if they heard it in its dialect form they would only be able to communicate with body language as even the rest of the UK finds it difficult. I was once in a conversation with my cousins neighbours (Sydney) and I found they were just continuously smiling at me gradually getting closer. When asked why they were drawing closer they said it was my accent and they couldn't get enough. Yep that' was kind of awkward and a speedy retreat was made to the safety of my cousins apartment.
I couldn't return the compliment I'm afraid as there are some Aussie accent that makes me want to reach for the cotton wool in urgency. Thankfully the majority are okay.

I am not attracted to nor repelled by any accent. I find that with both men and women, some sound good in that accent, and others don't. It is about tonal aspects, general sound, ect. not just whether they have one accent or another. I DO like to understand them though... LOL So those with super THICK accents that make basic understanding difficult, it tends to not work for me.

Most accents are pretty fantastic. Though I admit I have a hard time with some, for example heavy African accents make it very hard for me to puzzle out what the person is trying to say at times.

When I was younger I met a Scottish girl .. she was 6ft 1 me 5ft 11 but she was a great laugh. Once I got her to slow down when she talked I found it tremendously sexy as was her body too .. I sometimes wonder what lucky bloke swept her off her feet ..
