I, being a lipstick enthusiast, will chime in. In this day and age, lipstick shouldn't really go anywhere besides the lips. That's how strong they should be. Especially matte shades. Creme lipsticks are a bit different. Colored or tinted lip glosses are a different story as well They get everywhere. Also, if a woman is wearing lip liner or lip gloss along with her lipstick, that may be what's actually smudging all over the place.
But I digress. As I've said, I'm a lipstick enthusiast...and I've never gotten any complaints as far as kissing goes.
