Tattoos do turn me on, and I'm not sure why. I think tattoos send a message that a woman is into her body and wants to be looked at, or at least that's how I selfishly interpret things.

Where on her body? Anywhere can be erotic. Again, it's about ( for me) where she wants me to look. Where she wants attention paid.

What kind of tattoo? Not crucial to me - but I know I don't care much for the names of former ( or present) male lovers, or the names of her children. Doesn't really matter if it's dominant in nature or sensual and sweet.

I guess I like to think of tattoos as something like a sign, or guide, to what she wants.

On the other hand, my own prejudice is a tattoo is not ever as beautiful as her own skin.

Depends on the tattoo and where it is = I prefer small artistic tattoo's in hidden places like a butterfly/flower on the back/hip

A woman's body is a beautiful gift, I hate to see so covered in tat's that you can't even tell what kind of picture or words they are and it makes a woman look like an old time sailor. People get carried away with tats that soon they are just one dark blob. I especially don't like them on a woman's breast. A small tattoo here or there is sexy, but making your body look like a freeway underpass that been sprayed by a bunch of illiterate taggers is a turn off. Besides it is a fad and in a few years you will have to go thru a lot of pain to remove them.

Love a woman with ink, even lots of ink. Half sleeve, full sleeves, full back, chest, hips, etc, all are great, like fine tuning on a piece of art

Always.... lower back... inside upper thigh... stomach just below belly button - or soft area of hip beside pussy. Also love involved tattoos down each of the vertebra on spine, serpentine across body and leg... ink is lovely.

You're right tattoos are a fine line, some men hate them others love them, I like them but they have to be tasteful, lower back for instance I think is rather hot, but same recommendations for guys, never get one where you can't cover it up easily. On a girl this is a little harder, but ankle and feet tattoos are cute, but you can always cover those up at work. Thigh very hot, again easily covered, chest or belly or ribs, very painful and sexy, but the no no places are face, neck and hands, sleeves or halfsleeves can be ok, but that is where it kind of depends on the tattoo and the person.

I would love to have a tattoed Mistress in charge of me, the more the better, it would increase the intimidation factor, and the whole situation would be more enjoyable. MMMMM love tattoed women!!

No not at all. I love a girls skin and how sexy it is. When it's covered up with ink then I can't see how beautiful their skin is

I prefer beautiful natural skin.

I prefer no tats, but maybe it's a generational thing. I'm over 75, and females from my day were usually bushy and non tatted. Today's woman seems to be the opposite. I still love a beautiful bush.

It the tattoos are done well and they're just not random pieces splattered all over her, then yes, they can be a turn on.

I don't know exact reason but tattoos on girls do turn me on. I've felt it. I think it's the feeling that the girl I'm with, is into her body and wants to be looked at. And that's a very erotic feeling ;)

I'm not at all a fan, but have seen and liked small tats in secret places.

I care little or less, however, what's the point of defacing the anatomy. If Mother Goose or God had intended you have tats, you would have been born with a zillion.

Personally, I can appreciate-or won't be bothered by-some tattoo's that are well done. That being said, there's certainly some complexity to it. It depends on how big the tat's are, where they are placed, what colors, and what the tat's are of/about. Chest/Breast, Thigh, and Vaginal/Pelvic tattoo's are a really big turn off for me. The bigger the tattoo, the less likely I am to be able to bypass it. Some very well done, colorful tattoo's are simply stunning, and fit the person; keep in mind though, that removal is more expensive and not without some residual.

But, as you can see, there are plenty of men with less reservation, who absolutely love them. Something to keep in mind: Depending on how long you've been with your b/f, or how solid the relationship is, your current b/f may love an all tatted woman, but the relationship may not last for the long run, so maintaining a good balance of pleasure and practicality may serve you well. Maybe you two will be together forever, and in time, you'll feel more clearance to go the distance with it, but since we don't know the future, proceeding with caution is usually never a bad thing.

Ultimately, it's your call. Even with the mainstreaming of body modification-outside of the romantic side of it-some careers and workplaces still frown upon a "full canvas", or highly visible body art. Essentially, discretion is advised, but it's your life. Live as you see fit!

Yes! Absolutely. Regardless of size or subject, or where it is on her body. Not sure why, exactly. Maybe because tattoos were seen as more rebellious and counter-culture when I was growing up. Certainly not the case anymore.

No. I really don't care for body art. There are tasteful and overly done ones. The tramp stamp is so common now that I almost expect it. Living at the beach I get an eyeful of them. A little rose on the shoulder or butt is tasteful in my view but I just can't imagine permanent ink on the face and neck to be a good decision. You can get away with it at twenty but what will it look like on a 60 year old?
