You people didn't notice something. It says it's "two hickory smoked horse buttholes."

So it does....you got me on that one baby! All I saw was the Hot Pockets and immediately heard the comedian Jim Gaffigan in my head doing his Hot Pocket bit.

Mine is holiday food. Doesn't matter which one. When I was little and both parents alive mom always tried to make every holiday special and family time. There was only the 3 of us. Once in a great while we'd go to grandmas with all the realatives but,it was never as good as the "just us" times.
Ham, candied yams, cole slaw and hot rolls at Easter. Turkey and all the trimmings for Thanksgiving. 4th of July hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill with Mac salad and potato salad and baked beans. Christmas, man, all the homemade cookies and cakes and waldorf salad, endless friends coming over for a holiday drink. Everyone used to dress up for that one. Even if you were only going next door, the ladies put on skirts or dresses and the men at least a tie, nice shirts and pants.

I try to do it to this day with my husband and I. And we're not even religious! But reminds us both of childhood happy things. Family, smiles, hugs.

Couldnt agree wit hyou more!

except for the slaw and baked beans...YUCK!

Ill eat jsut about anythign that is put in front of me. Or atleast ill try to; i dont like to be rude. I guess my two favorite types of food would have to be Italian and Mexican.

Although my favorite food is sushi.

I don't eat bait.

It is not bait, it is really good. The only "fish" that is in there is raw shrimp.

You know it's funny, I spent a lot of time in Asia and ate a lot of fish and I still don't like it. I do like most ethnic foods tho. And I Love comparing the American version to the real thing from the country of origin.

There's some really bad fish to be had there (as well as good of course). The worst offender is "Basa", which is called a few other things as well to disguise what it really is - Catfish. They farm them in dirty pools, and they stink as badly as they taste. It was the only thing to eat on my flight home the other day, and I couldn't stomach even opening the foil top. The whole plane stank of horrible fish

Handsome fellow....

Up here in the north it's called a taco pie or taco bake.

B-girl made it last night. Great stuff and quick and easy.

I am not to fond of fish myself. It has to be prepared really well in order for me to eat otherwise I pass....

If it's battered and fried with TONS of tarter sauce I might be able to handle it.

Doesn't mean I don't like lobster tail or ak king crab, sometimes shrimp.

Used to eat raw oysters. Now they remind me of a snot ball.

I like meat pies. I've been a chef forever and I make these for neighbors, too and work, more frequently. The filling is 85/25 ground pork/ground beef, some celery, garlic, onion, coarse grated red potatoes, . The dough is a simple preparation with some vanilla extract and small amount of sugar. I roll into skins, dough rounds 8 inches or so. Fold the dough over a portion of filling, seal or crimp and deep fry. They are extremely spicy. I can walk to the refrigerator in the middle of the night and eat one cold they are so good. I have some pictures but didn't see a quick way to add to my post.

Hey sand, welcome.
They have something similar in the midwest called pasties.
I also have a friend in germany that makes something like them as well. Only she bakes instead of DF.
