Sorry if this is a little less of a turn-on forum topic, but it could really help me out..
So... I am circumcised and my son, 2, is not. I am starting to teach him how to clean himself and he is becoming pretty aware of penises, coming into the bathroom when I am showering or taking a leak and pointing at mine, saying "penis" and then at his and saying "same!!!!" (just kinda cute)
We didn't for the whole abuse/nature argument, but now I am having second thoughts after reading some of the posts on the threads in the ladies forum. So some questions for those that are not circumcised...
Have you had any health related issues because you are not circumcised?
Have you had woman be turned off or on by it?
Do you wish you were circumcised?
And for those that are... I am a little disappointed that my mother and father made the decision to do that to me. Do you feel the same? Do you not give it any thought? Do you think it is an advantage or disadvantage for any reason?
There's really no reason to worry about not being circumcised. I certainly appreciate the fact that I wasn't, and there aren't any health risks to it either way, except the remote possibility of infection after the operation itself. In terms of women (or men) being aroused or not by it, I haven't ever had any comments. I know some people have preferences but it's rarely a dealbreaker, and those for whom it is, I would never have wanted to sleep with. There's a lot of merit to having your foreskin if there's no reason not to (i.e. religion).
Hope that helps.
1. I've had a complete, un-cut penis for more than 70 years and have not had any health issues. Normal care and cleaning is all that is required; the "cleaning" is much less extensive than that which is regularly performed by a woman. A possible "health issue" may arise in the case of a man who dips into multiple partners one right after another and does not take the time to clean off.
2. Woman, in my experience, is not turned off by foreskin or prepuce; in fact I've found the opposite to be true. At work, several years back, the topic of circumcision was brought up by a co-worker who was expecting a son; needless to say her female colleagues had differing ideas and none of them possessed and relevant experience. When asked, I offered my input which ultimately involved "show-and-tell" with the expectant mom; she certainly was excited when she got to play what she later called peek-a-boo with my glans and foreskin. Yes, that excited me too!
3. I do not wish to be circumcised, nor have I wished that I had been as an infant--no matter what anybody says, it is mutilation. I was born in the USA before the war (it was because of circumstances during the war that made circumstances politically correct) to a Roman Catholic family so there was not thought at all by my parents toward circumcision. I don't have any problem with boys being circumcised for religious reasons or customs; my two grandsons, born to an Orthodox Jewish mother was each presented at bris.
One other point, as mentioned above; a cut penis gets used to constant rubbing/abrasion and [in theory] becomes less sensitive than the uncut version making it possible for a circumcised man to last longer and provide more thrill to a woman. That said, a couple of fine ladies have told me that they prefer the feel of un-cut within them--were they trying to make me feel better?
