Ok, me and my hubby are having a baby, but he seems really protective. Like over protective. Its r first kid and I want to know, How can O ease his mind about the baby?

Maybe it's that we don't have plans to have kids so I haven't thought about it.

But, I am not seeing what's wrong. Why not just let him be protective?

It might be his way OF keeping his mind at ease about the baby.

I think it's good he's being protective now, it bodes well for him to be a good father.

Imagine how you would feel if he was the other way?

I am very over protective. Had to be since my little one was a premie and there were bottles of Purell everywhere in the house, and a couple in my pockets at all times.

As long as the grip lets over time and allows the child to grow, then it is all good.

I would say let him be over protective now, so that maybe he might ease up later in the child's life. Its a very good thing, and while it may be getting on your nerves now, at least he wants to be an active part of the child's life. Congrats to both of you by the way. smile

Babies are born everyday. They get bumps and bruises but they will survive.
