It's not all about money. It's about saving lives through research, aiding awareness, encouraging people to examine themselves regularly so they can recognise any changes they should get checked by a doctor. Self examination is the FIRST WEAPON you have for survival and it only takes a minute.

There are a lot of resources and interesting reading throughout this thread. Sometime soon I'm hoping to paste them all in one post at the end of the thread for those who want it

Trinket, What you did here was amazing and wonderful. Having lost my father to the big "C" nine years ago, any cancer awareness program is near and dear to my heart. You done good here girl and I for one am proud of you.

I'm so happy this was such a success! You did so much to bring awareness to a much needed topic. You allowed some to share their real pictures, and others to share their real stories. In the end, this has done so much good and even raised a bit of money for research toward a cure.

Thank you Trinket for all you did. Don't let anyone say you didn't do this for the right reasons because you did.
