Interesting topic - only two options offered. Well here is my "two cents", and I expect change back. I did nothing to mine for the longest time, then decided on my own to trim it down short. Someone very special to me convinced me to shave so I did. Kept it that way for a long time. Got married and kept it that way, then just gave up and let it grow back. After getting divorced I trimmed again. My eventual live-in girlfriend got me back into shaving. Kept it smooth for a few years. Came a time when I just couldnt keep up with it and it grew back. About a year or so ago started keeping it neatly trimmed up. Recently have been keeping it shaved again. So its kind of a cycle. For me its more of what the other person prefers. If it was just up to me, Id let it go or just trim.
