As there are so many members here, and so many subjects, this probably would have been discussed before, but please humor me and give me your take on this.
Does exposed labia worry females. Myself, I find it sexy, but I've read articles about ladies having op's to have it either removed or modified. So ladies, give us your thoughts,
and how many of you actually have exposed labia. Expand the subject if you wish, does your boyfriend/husband/partner like it? etc
Thanks.

Hi, I dont have them and actually I am glad because I know they can give discomfort and even pain. To a certain extent I find it beautiful, simply because labia are beautiful in my opinion smile, but if I can make a choiche I prefer not to see the inner lips when a woman stands straight.
I know women who have 'problems' with extented labia because it gives them discomfort, it feels awkward to them and sometimes even pain.

Over here we use bikes as a regular way to travel (16 million people and 19 million bikes we have in our little country ) women with extended labia more often feel discomfort/ pain during cycling.

So the operations are not always only because women don't like to have them popping out.

Not sure if this is an answer you were looking for..but just wanted to share it.

I've never given mine much thought - so I guess that means that they don't bother me.

In truth - I've given the appearance and classification of my genital tidbits absolutely no thought, ever, in my life. I'm not enamored with the female body's appearance so I'm always surprised over how important some guys thing xyz really is - it's always a shock to find that they care and even like it.

Since it's something I rarely consider - for others, men or women, to think about them so much as to develop preferences is an odd place to be as an erotica writer. It makes me wonder if such individuals would favor detail in that regard when they read, and if I care enough to put that kind of detail in. . . and I am curious as to why I don't remotely care.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, ladies.
Naughty_Nurse, yep I know about the bikes. I was in Amsterdam a couple of months ago, and couldn't believe the amount of bikes.

I had all my questions answered last night. Fox screened a program "The Perfect Vagina". It was a doco and showed various pics of ladies with what they considered excessive labia. They also showed a surgeon performing the operation on a young (in her twenties), girl, who after receiving some insensitive male comments, (there are some real pricks in this world), decided to have the surgery. Looked and was very painful, and the full recovery was I think about five months. When back to normal she was glad she had it done. It was interesting and very informative, and whilst there was a reasonable amount of genitalia shown, it done in context, and wasn't overdone.

Women can be no less offensive when it comes to opinions of genitals (not a blanket statement of course. Most people aren't and some would find it appealing) such as those who are offensive when talking about a natural (uncut) penis and guys who are in the small side.

In life you'll always find that's how things are. It's impossible to please everyone.

It's a shame that any women should be convinced she has to surgically adjust her labia. I remember the first time I went down on a girl with big lussy lips. Licking pussy became even more fun and I was hooked.

It 's a personal choice relating to comfort, I would assume. As Naughty Nurse said, it's uncomfortable riding a bike for some ladies, and I guess uncomfortable doing other things in that case. I cant believe the insensitivity of the guys who made the young girl in that doco feel bad. I have had lots of sex with girls with "generous" labia, and found it a turn on, not a turn off.

I've never even thought about it.

IMHO, My body is my body, and nowt is going to change it. I'm not going into surgery because some guy doesn't like my labia! I guess if it's an issue of self-confidence and you're sure you want it done, then go for it!

But I wouldn't. No one is going anywhere near me with a scalpel.

Mind, I've never had the discomfort and that, so I'm not really the best person to ask! But yeah, IMO I don't think there's a "perfect" vagina. I mean, everyone has different turn ons and offs.

Girls can be very self conscious about it. I mean, look at all the porn out there, a lot of the women have almost perfect ones. Some of us women compare ourselves to them and then get discouraged. In the end you have to get it over it and embrace it.

Well I'm sure everyone has a different opinion on this. But to me, and some of my girlfriends, the nicest have small labia that are pinkish and are not longer than the bigger lips. Honestly, it may just be us girls being insecure. I'll admit that I am.
