Why would any man in his right mind call his lover, the woman he loves a "B----"? Unless, of course, he gets his thrills sticking it into dogs - "beastality". Yeah girls, if he does, shut him off and throw him out, demand respect!

Speech is in a constant state of flux and meanings do change. Not too long ago ''bad'' meant ''good'' in some street parlance or other so perhaps this is an example of such an extension. Though I must admit these negative words regarding females never seem to have a totally accepted male equivalent such as ''slut''. Personally I would be unable to apply this as I am regarding the other examples.

I don't care. Just don't call me that in front of my family...you won't get out alive.

It would be his first and last time he ever called me that name he'd be out the door so fast it would make his head spin

Between best girlfriends, calling one another 'bitch' in jest is fine on occassion. As for hearing my man call me that in ANY context, personally, I don't particularly like it. I can think of a hundred other names I'd rather be called and 'bitch' isn't one of them.

Being called a bitch in anger is never okay...could end a relationship. But I have to admit, My bf has come into my place calling out, "Is the bitch of the house home?" Actually, I laughed. It was meant to be taken in humor and it was.

speaking for myself, there are time where i call my wife a bitch, or she does the same - it's always affectionate, and i'm ok with it, coming from her, like that. used in anger, or as a put down, tho, it's not a word i would stand for.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

There is no where in the day or night anyone gets away with calling me one.

I am not a confrontational person, and I try to lead a life of harmony, but calling me that word or the C word will see my hackles rise rather shapely.

I think it depends on the person/people and their relationship. Is it ok to be abusive and non-consensual about it? Absolutely not. Is it ok for a Dom to call his sub that with her permission and/or when she's turned on by it? Sure.

I once told a bossy self centered rude obnoxious shallow narrow-minded asshole of a girlfriend that she was a bitch when I was breaking up with her. That is not something I would call someone I cared about.
