I'm Irish by ancestry - 100% - but not by birth. My parents and grandparents etc all born in Ireland.

Any idea where your family hails from in Ireland?

Around Roscommon and Galway. I have some from Belfast, too.

Not really. We've had some cold air, some places have had a few inches of snow, but that's it. We've had 2 or 3 very mild winters in a row - maybe the law of averages will come into play this year. But personally, you can keep the snow - it looks nice in pictures and ski area, but not on city streets and commuter routes.

It’s minus 3C here in Dublin, the coldest it’s been in quite a few years. We normally have mild winters. Tell me a bit about you, if you don’t mind. I love to hear other peoples life stories.

I'm in grad school for chemistry. Almost finished with most of the work.

Not much time for real dating but do have a nice social life.

I enjoy outdoor sports - I don't really like sports on tv. I like shooting sports, sailing, camping ( winter camping is fun with the right people), hunting, swimming ( SCUBA!!)

Currently here in Boston it is about 15 °F ( - 9 °C) and cloudy. Probably warming tomorrow with snow early in the coming week.

Been to Ireland a few times.

I sailed a lot when I was younger and I live swimming. Always wanted to scuba but never had the chance to try it. Loved chemistry on school, especially organic.
