How do you Feel About Shaved Heads on Men?

Due to the lockdown, many people are foregoing their usual grooming habits.

I'm someone that for the last 4 years, has being periodically shaving my head.

Mainly because I despise the contrived procedure that goes along with walking into a place, sitting in a chair and having a slightly overweight, single mother proceed to cut my hair while she asks me the usual litany of obligatory questions that for some reason they feel will break down social barrier and make this 15 minute procedure less intolerable for the both of us.

Now could I go to a better place? Absolutely. Is it worth it? Not really.

I recall after I received a significant cash windfall I started going to an upscale salon in a Trendy area of Vancouver.

Did I want a latte? No.

Then she asked me if I wanted a scalp massage. Ok. I guess. Then she told me to take my shirt off. I'm not sure what part of my shirt was covering my scalp... but ok.

So I had my rubdown, she cut my hair the best I've ever had. And I tipped her a ridiculous amount of money and went on my way.

So now I'm in a new city, I have an eyepatch that visibly freaks most people out but they generally don't say anything about it unless they are a sociopath.

So if I want to go to get a hair cut, there is always this awkward exchange as I take my patch off and sit down and they pretend not to notice it. So I just started cutting my own hair. And then I just started shaving my head because it was easier.

I wish I had a symmetrical style of hair so I could just let my hair grow wild, but I have a crazy cowlick and my hair grows more on one side than the other. I literally just walked home and passed a guy that had a bald head with the exception of a Homer Simpson style curl of hair in the mid-front area of his pate. I blurted out "Just shave it."

I have a good head of hair, and just like universal health care if you don't need to worry about, you don't really think about it.

But for ease, I just shave it all off like I'm lots of men have done during lockdown.

So my question for the women is.... do you like a shaved head.

For me personally, not a fan. I feel like I go from being a Beverly Hills 90210 character to being a person that looks like he probably has committed one or more hate crimes in the last week. I'm sure the eyepatch and leather jacket doesn't help.

I do enjoy waking up and not having to do anything with my hair though.

Do you prefer a shaved head? Does it change your image of a guy?

(Insert here any shaved head guy you find attractive) I couldn't find any.

I don't go to bed with anyone who's shaved their head. They can shave their junk, but not their heads!

Depends on the guy.

I think it can be sexy but it's a matter of personal preference.
