Not one girl has said the Sims? I smell bullshit.

Serious obsession with the Sims (I hate being a stereotype!). Also love the Zelda games.
I love. COD Black Ops, and Modern warfare. I also love the legend of Zelda series. I actually have a collection ranging back to the NES.
I'm a Blizz girl myself, starting with Warcraft: Orcs vs Humans, through the Diablo games (all three), a few years of obsession with WoW, and now I'm loving the Hearthstone beta. I played the WoW: TCG a bit, too, and seriously dated the 2008 World Champ. I've played the Sims, but that's more my partner's thing, and I do so very rarely. Minecraft is another game we pay together. He has Assassin's Creed 1, 2, and 3, and I want to try it. I've also enjoyed Path of Exile and Guild Wars Two. There are a few Android only games I like, too. No consoles.

But, really, my biggest passion is boardgames, and not crap like Monopoly or something. I mean, I can get behind a good party game with the right crowd, but I like Euro games (Vinci, or and commodity trading game), cooperative games (Arkham Horror, Pandemic, etc.), strategy games (Twilight Imperium), and other stuff (Race to the Galaxy, Dominion), to name a few. I go annually to the World Boardgaming Championship, which is held about two hours from Philly every August, and while I haven't won in a game yet, I have made the finals for a few.
How have I never thought to ask this here! Always nice to see more gamer girls out there, you see lots in MMOs, and its great to see so many here
Uncharted series, and Assassin Creed series
Tomb Raider!

Yeah and way too many dudebro games.

Slightly sexist?
Love the games, but no time to play them. I was once obssessed with warlords, and a D&D boardgame simply called Dungeon. Ive also been wrapped up in Warcraft(old school, when it was humans or orcs) Heros, civilization, empire, and Oregon trail (remember that way back in the 90s? lol)

now Im too busy for the games, school eats an enormous amount of time as does work.
?? Frogger - Atari
Right now, Skyrim
This is probably really lame but I'm addicted to Jewel Saga!

Nah i would have to say not its good but not all that a there quite a few games that beat it GTA 4&5.. bioshock the new one!..la norie.. battlefiled.. Cod..

I'm looking at this from a multiplayer point of view. Stories are good for maybe one or two playthroughs, but a great game has a great multiplayer.

GTA 4 - Terrible Multiplayer and extremely boring.
GTA 5 - Awesome story, still needs tweaks to multiplayer but will eventually get boring which is the problem with GTA.
Bioshock - Heard the story is the only thing going for it.
La Noire - Same as Bioshock
Battlefield - Possibly the only sensible/reasonable game on the list to even compete with Halo 3's experience.
CoD - Ha Ha Ha, next joke please.

Halo 3 on the other hand, I got it in 2007, started playing multiplayer in 2008 and after 5 years of multiplayer I'm still not bored of it. It has a mediocre campaign but it definitely makes up with it on the multiplayer. It's extremely competitive and unlike CoD and Battlefield, it has a fine line between good and bad players as well as actually having to put effort into the game to become good at it. With CoD and Battlefield, you can just pick the game up and start doing well as they are "point and shoot" games. As for the conflict between CoD and BF fanboys/girls. Battlefield is far better where as CoD is essentially an old game with a fresh lick of paint each year.

The thing is with many people, they throw their opinions out there without any real thought or logic. I at least have points to back my opinion of the game up. Halo 3 is the best game of the decade.

But Rockstar are saying they will be bring more and more dlc for gta out so i don't think it get that boring if you have a good set of mates playing with you.. And for saying Battlefield and CoD are easy and are just a pickup and play is not accurate at all it takes alot of time to get use too both games.. for battlefield it does take time to get good for the likes off bullet drop flying jets and coppers and how to use tanks and anti and lav's right rather than rushing in like a idiot ...

GTA is already dying, pretty much says it all. Rockstar are full of shit and people are finding that out quickly.
The only thing that is remotely true in that statement about the FPS games is difficulty of learning how to fly in Battlefield. CoD is easy. I only got Ghosts yesterday and I'm already destroying people who have had it a week. Battlefield was exactly the same. I bought Battlefield 3 a year after it came out and I destroyed people from the get-go. They are pick up and play games. Bullet drop off is something new but you act as though it takes years to figure out when in reality a decent player should pick it up in about an hour or two of playing the game. Maybe I'm just the superior FPS player, who knows?
I'm surprised I'm not seeing Mass Effect more, I know all the girls at my job (programming company) are into it, never heard them admit to playing WoW but I'm sure that's up there as well.

true their launch was completely shit! and fucked themselves up! but i don't see the best selling game in history dying anytime soon since most of the online problems have been fixed and u can go and have a laugh with ur mates.. and that they will be bring more and more new stuff out for the online like the last one... but the way you say it pick up and go for battlefield it not really about ur own score its more has ur squad/ team fucking ripped them apart.. and when u think about if bullet drop is hard to master if ur new to the game and unlike CoD u can bounce about like a full cock spinning in circles to snipe some one where it actually takes skill to sit about 400 meters out and pop a head shot to to a guy running.. and CoD is diffcult if you are playing in league play and work your way up and play professionals.. Sure you prob are ;) lol

Kind of wish they'd go with the less realistic approach bf2142 did with their rocket launchers, basically very little splash damage to infantry, only one hit kills if you could shot a person dead on with the missile, less realistic but got rid of all the n00btubers.

Like I said, bullet drop should take no longer than a few hours to get used to. I hadn't played a Battlefield game before and I got used to it. CoD's league play wasn't at all difficult. It was pretty stupid to be fair. Very inaccurate and unbalanced. People in onyx were absolutely terrible and that's where all the "best" players were supposedly.

Halo 3 had the best competitive structure. It had ranked games where you'd rank up based on your consistency and there was a fine line between the good players and shit players like I said before. Then it had social where you could just kick back and relax, have a laugh with people. That's why Halo has dropped off the radar in recent years, they got rid of the best features and pretty much killed the whole series. If Halo 5 goes back to the core gameplay and is like Halo 2/3 then it will definitely replace CoD in MLG.

MLG CoD what a joke.
