I love the look of heels but unfortunately, I cannot wear them for very long at all. I'm only 5'3 so I'm fairly short and I wear alternative/gothic/rockabilly clothing and heels kind of make the outfit. I was pleased when I was able to find these Irregular Choice heels though that are chunkier and I managed to wear them all day for my wedding last year.

I don't love walking in them, but largely because I've sprained my ankles literally dozens of times in my life (I have a hyperflexibility/instability issue with my joints), so they are a recipe for disaster in my case. I can find them aesthetically very pleasing, but mostly on drag queens. When I see them on women a part of me always wonders if they wear them for shitty reasons of an extremely sexist and misogynistic society. That said, I do not believe that anybody should not wear them when they do want to.
