Yes, of course! I can't imagine not having fantasies about sex!

The deepest, darkest fantasies I fix my mind on to get off are things I'll never do in real life EVEN if given the opportunity.

Usually sex fantasies I entertain that I would want to try in real life rank low for "how often does this come to mind when you get off".

Would I tell my husband what my top kink fantasies are? He'll no. Hell imagine I'd want to do them with him which I won't. I know for a fact that some things would negatively and permanently alter how he sees me.

This is, in my opinion, a perfect example of a very significant difference between male and female sexuality - I'm generalising, obviously, but:

Women often fantasise about things they'd never actually want to do, while men don't.

When I was in my teens, my first girlfriend would never tell me her fantasies. I assumed at the time that she was just shy, but I suspect now that she thought (probably correctly!) that I'd assume she would want to act them out. It was only when I was in my 20s that another, more confident, girlfriend set me right about this - she was happy to tell me her fantasies, but made it clear that that's all they would ever be. It was quite an eye-opener, but a lot of things immediately started to make sense!

I suspect that many men remain unaware of this aspect of female sexuality, and it can certainly cause problems in relationships.

Hell, I think things like this are so important, they should be taught in school!

We sure do. And believe it or not we fart and go to the bathroom too!!

Absolutely the best response I've seen on any Forum post in a long while! Real Life has a way of making us all equals.

of course! Sometimes the fantasies even become reality with trust and the right partner!

I certainly do! Especially while I'm masturbating... the more the fantasy, the harder I cum, usually!

You would be surprised who are part of MY fantasies.
I close my eyes and I am sure it is them that are really there.

Not all women feel comfortable to share their fantasies with their husbands or friends. It's easier to share in Lush or other site without being recognized.

I have to agree. Some fantasies are meant to be shared and others kept private. They can be enjoyed in the mind and are not meant to be said aloud. I know some I won't share with my husband. Don't want him running out the door, lol. I like to think we all have some fantasies.

I think AliCinnamon nailed it.

I fantasise A LOT but they're just not going to happen. I have a fantasy sex life which is like my sexy online life - entirely separate from my real life. I could never share this with my partner - he just wouldn't understand, and think I was not satisfied with him - which is completely the opposite of reality.

Is the Pope Catholic?

Seems like a really silly thread to me.

Do women fantasize? Who knows. Do women have real thoughts and do they even exist at all?? No one can say for sure.

Of course they do.

Why do you think so many write and read erotic stories here on Lush and out there in paperback land

What the fuck sort of asinine question is That?!

As if women weren't people, it essentially asks, "Do these lesser creatures have thoughts, ideas, opinions, emotions, plans, or intelligence?"

This question is of a kind one might expect to be brought forth in a discussion among fundamentalist Muslim imams.

I want to know who wrote it and I want to know what the hell they were thinking.

More than men I guess.... look at the stories here by women..... mostly it is an outcome of fantasy smile

OMG yes. In fact, I have a whole walk-in closet full of them!

Some have been fulfilled in real life, but most have not. They are just too strange to be shared.

Life would really be boring without the fantasy the mind creates.

Yes, I fantasize. Until recently, I never had a partner I would share any of them with.

Yes, but there is a different between having a fantasy... and being willing to carry that fantasy into reality. I have several fantasies, but I know for a fact that some will never come to reality and I'm fine with that.

The polling results tell you clearly especially since you're asking this question on Lush.

I'd say almost everyone has fantasies. Whether or not they are willing to admit them or to share them is another question altogether. The same way whether we want them to become a reality or not....some yes, some no. And I think this applies to guys as well. (or maybe just the self-acclaimed shy ones).

As someone mentioned above, this seems an accurate assessment on the subject. My girlfriend and I both have tumblr pages and have free access to each others page. When I first noticed a LIKE of hers that made my eyes pop open in a "holy, that seems extreme" way she assured me not everything she found of interest on tumblr was on her/our to-do list. That being said, she can be a dirty little wench so I know some of those images take centre stage when she fires up her Magic Wand.

I find this question so obvious. Maybe the question should be "why do I not know my wife's fantasies?" Just sayin'...
