but that a woman likes to be led sometimes
You know men and women are fundamentally different. We're supposed to want different things. It's not bad to want a man to be more powerful than I woman. That's how we're made. It's a good thing.

DB, I would say that men don't crave the power over a woman, but that a woman likes to be led sometimes. They like to see that authority displayed ; they like to know their man is confident yet also of equal stature. Maybe that sounds contradictory and I don't explain things well sometimes.
That's just my opinion, anyway.

When DB mentioned that women crave power, I probably misunderstood him, but I immediately thought of money, success, being with someone for what they can provide finanancially.
I actually said:
What women crave most in their Men .....Power
Meaning women find men with power an attraction

As the "Mrs Brown" thread explained, which I think Chef posted originally (?) women like to see confidence and assertiveness in men - not control freaks or men who demean them. Mutual respect. We are different, and people who try to erase the differences, or the women who drop their femininity to become like men are missing out, foolish, and discarding or missing some of the spice in life.
Women do not want men who are going to butt in and try to fix, rectify or solve their every problem, or tell them how to manage things or resolve their concerns. They just want to be listened to, heard out, to feel some empathy, compassion, or to have their man's understanding as to their heart, thoughts, fears and stresses.
We men are often prone to wanting to fix things, resolve them here and now, and make things right, setting things straight, and be done with them. Women generally want to work things out, ease things around, and work it a whole different way, or let the other party come to a realization on their own, with some nudging or clues.
I am sure there are other areas equally demonstrative of our differences, but the key thing is to recognize, allow for, appreciate and celebrate those things.
In bed being a good place to start....with those other differences!
