i have a few gfs both here and in real life who follow a lesbian lifestyle as a result of abuse by men.. but personally i have never suffered that way.. have just never been attracted to men sexually.. i feel no arousal around them at all .. does that make it genetic ? .. i really don't know.. but if it does then it must work both ways.. for those men who feel no sexual arousal around ladies..

i have also heard of a university study that concludes girls like me have a tendency to turn bi between the ages of 30 and 33.. and want to have kids..

the greatest compliment ever paid to me was the sweet man who, on hearing of the study, googled me and sent a date request for my 31st birthday... as an academically gifted male [yes he is on Lush] he now has only another 11 years to wait before he can make an informed contribution to said study..

perhaps he will comment also on the genetic theory at that time?
if he misses out that is
being gay/lesbian is NOT genetic. as a bisexual woman i have to say that i prefer women to men because i have had nothing but bad experiences with guys. i think someone turning gay (or was gay to begin with) is a lifestyle choice. i don't think genetics enter into the discussion. its just stupid scientist trying to say something is wrong so it has to come from somewhere.

umm... *sighs* nevermind. btw, i liked girls LONG before i'd ever had a bad experience with a guy. and honestly? it wasn't a choice. i just did.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Theories they may be - but they are based on extensive studies. It certainly explains why we r the way we are. So they have some degree of credibility.YJcYJXgD9IGmXwGu

You are right but so is Dreamer.

I and others probably had no idea u were jesting. People will always take u the wrong way.

That's why I try to use the icons or clearly state my stance. Often I still get it wrong.

BTW very few people are at the level to qualify for MENSA most of us are just plebs trying to get by with as least pain and as much fun as possible.

All the best.AwEZ2DhU4UCuEbPS

people taking me the wrong way is part of the fun, tho.

it may not be genetic but there is more to it than just having a bad expirence with a guy and then moving to girls you have had to have some feelings for girls before then
