Ok so I'm here pretty much exclusively to read stories, and I visit on what I would consider a fairly regular basis so I read quite a few stories.
My question is why does it seem like in nearly every story I read the female orgasm is represented through squirting when in reality only a portion of women actually experience this on a regular basis? I can't help but feel like it's a bit over the top, but maybe that's just me.
If your an author who often writes stories where this occurs perhaps you could shed some light on the topic and illuminate me as to why it appears to be so prevalent in stories, particularly those involving oral sex.
I think that shows either the interest of the author or the interest that author is writing for. A lot of people find it sexy or a turn on though they've never experienced it - or haven't experienced it much.
There's often a big difference between sex fantasy and sex reality per stories.
I think it can be traced back to people still wanting the same thing they've seen a thousand times before. Like in the rom-coms, you still want the leads to end up together. You know it's coming, but you would still be disappointed when it didn't happen. Just my opinion.

Is the squirting described sensationally? Like across the room or something nonsensical like that? Or is it described as gushing or really wet? The latter is more realistic. A good bit of women just generally have really wet orgasms, and wet orgasms make for the better visual and gives you something to describe.
'With a final gasp her pussy clamped down on his cock. She muttered incomprehensibly as she came, her juices seeping and dripping down his cock.'
'With a final gasp her pussy clamped down on his cock. She muttered incomprehensibly as she came.'
See the difference?

I think guys appreciate the visual which is why authors I think include it in their stories. I'm one of those rare squirting individuals so I can't say it annoys me. lol
In my opinion, squirting seems to have made it big about five years ago. Before that, it was rarely, ever mentioned.
Unless I say squirt/squirting in my stories, I don't mean them to be squirting orgasms. Full on female ejaculating orgasms are not at all as easy to achieve as they are described in these stories. I can be a squirter, but it doesn't happen often and it freaked me out when it first happened.
On the other hand, I mean to express wetness in most of my stories as it has been my experience that I, and women that I've been with, get very wet, and yes that means shiny pussies and fluids on inner thighs.
I think that a lot of writers try to give readers what they THINK they want to read about. So if something becomes fairly popular, (like BDSM Fifty Shades style) a lot of authors will write about it, to keep up with the latest trend. Lately, squirting is the new "g-spot". Everyone wants to make it happen, either in real life or in fiction.
I have never squirted in my life - so I won't write about it. Period.

I know that all the women don't squirt, even there are some women who still doesn't know a thing about squirting. I don't try to show a female orgasm with squirting, (though in my latest chapter of 'Secret Affairs: with my friend's son' I have just mentioned squirting), if the story line and plot really need it then I write about it. Or as if I'm writing a totally hardcore story with lots of sex and only sex then may be I would mention it. But including squirting in every story is not my thing, because in that way it can only spoil your story.

Female ejaculation - I certainly enjoy the discovery a woman who is able to 'squirt.' Some when they have an orgasm sort of just flow - which may be just a small amount or could fill both of their shoes when running down their thighs.
One of my best experiences was a woman who literally gushed when her g spot was massaged - shot out almost a foot and in such quantity that the mattress pad was soaked, but luckily she had a plastic liner underneath so the mattress was not ruined.
I enjoy enabling a woman to try and let herself go - and does take patience, but not all will be able to have that happen. Just make certain she does not smoke as that certainly 'taints' the discharge - am thirsty thinking of that joy!
Helps describe the intensity of the orgasm .
I think most get mixed up. Most women I know feel a small gush, only one claims to squirt. I think many have seen to many pornographers videos with paid actors
In about 10 stories (3 under this name on here) I've never included female squirting and am not likely to as it's something I've never experienced and the idea doesn't particularly turn me on (doesn't repulse me, I'm just ambivalent I suppose). Never say never, but it's not something I'm desperate to write about.
In terms of its apparent over-representation generally (I hadn't noticed, to be honest), I imagine its prevalence in porn and male fantasies has something to do with it, but also the fact that it's a pretty easy, physically-obvious way to signify a female orgasm, especially for a male writer.
I would go as far as saying that squirting is a fetish for some people. In that case, they might not care about how "real" the description is, all they want is a lot of liquid gushing all over the place.
Personally, I sometimes use squirting as a "kink" of one of my character but not as the main point of the story.
