i have just done a quick count of stories by category:
anal - 80

straight stories come out on top with and lesbian stories tying for second spot with a bit under half the number for straight. nest comes group and bdsm following hard in 4 and 5. this tells me that the denzians of lushstoryland are well versed sexually and show, perhaps, a bit more of a proclivity for sexual deviations (anything other than straight sex) than the population at large.
in other words that shows that....
i have a firm grasp on the obvious?
well, yes, that, and also given a relatively free and safe place to roam normal adults will explore things beyond their comfort zone and personal experiences.
now another interesting set of stats would be the total number of 'reads' in each catagory. a pursuit i have neither time nor patience for!!!

I take it you mean denizans?

This is really just a breakdown of authors tastes, rather than those of surfers. Some authors only write in one category as well, and might be prolific in it, so that skews the results to a large extent. It would be interesting to know the view breakdown as well - I'll ask my programmer to look at it once he's done finishing useful things for us like the profile area overhaul icon_smile
