I have wrote two stories now and they haven't appeared not had anything come of them it's like they have disappeared what happens when I press the submit button.

Submitted stories sit in a queue until one of our story mods has had the chance to read and verify it for you. You only have one story submitted at the moment, not two, and it was only sent in a few hours ago.
We are quite busy with submissions at the moment, but we do our best to try and get them processed within a day or two. Many websites take a LOT longer.
Once a story is verified, you will receive a PM to let you know. At that point it will appear on our front page and also on your profile page. If it is rejected, you will be provided with details about what you need to do to correct it.

After you click submit, they enter a queue. A lush story moderator then selects your story, reads it and then they approve or reject it. If it's approved, you'll be notified and it will appear on the home page. If it's rejected, you will also be notified with reasons why your story was rejected. After you make the necessary changes, you can submit again and it goes through the pretty much the same process.
Sometimes this process happens quickly, sometimes it takes a bit of time. It depends on how many stories are in the queue and how many story mods are online.
