My partner and I collaborate on every story, though not quite in the way you're describing. I'm the primary author, and I'm the one who comes up with the ideas, but every story gets run through her. I gauge her reactions, and she often has excellent suggestions for changes to improve the story structure. It's more like she's my beta reader and trusted editor. Years ago, I wrote without any feedback or editing, and working with her has really helped me refine my "voice." It helped clarify that we care a lot about stories that clearly show women with agency,

Everything I have posted here was written in partnership with Miss Pixel. Since nothing has yet met her standard of excellence, it has all been published under my name alone, that I might bear the full measure of it's mediocrity.

I tried collaborating on a story once. I might be open to doing it again, though I'm more than fine getting by on my own. If I were to try teaming up again it would have to be with someone I could be on the same page with (pun intended), not just in terms of writing style or sexual preferences (is what I think is sexy sexy to you and vice versa?), but work processes as well. Ideally, I'd develop the plot of the story, the characters, their relationship, the events that bring them together and bring in a partner to spice up the sex scenes themselves.

Don't believe everything that you read.

Can anyone assist a non writer edit stories? While English is my first language my writing abilities are sadly lacking.
