Question.
I feel like interactive erotica is the cat's pajamas. I kind of stumbled on it completely by accident, just one story (not even the whole story), but it made a big impression on me, maybe because i started thinking about the possibilities for the medium. It takes my erotica experience to the next level. Blows my mind.
There's stuff out there. Visual novels, stuff like that. But not very much, and not very much that's very good. (That I've come across.) Very little geared toward women. And I'm not asking for full romantic girly erotica, just stuff that's not full-on misogyny. (like most VNs)
So I'm asking two things: can anybody recommend me anything in this genre, and am I the only one that feels this way? I figure if a lot of people liked this stuff there'd be more of it out there. Because when it comes to reading erotica, and reading erotica where I get to be involved (even if it's just a little), I'm finding it hard to go back.

Shows you how out of touch I am. I've never even heard of interactive erotica (or maybe I have and just don't know it by that name). What is it?
I don't know anything about any such "sites" but the problem I've run into HERE is that while ALL of my friends t've written stories for have enjoyed them, when I ask THEM TOO "interact" it's like pulling teeth! They think that I'm EXPECTING some fantastically written story from them, when all I'm asking for is FEED BACK and input so that I can take it in a direction they're going to thoroughly enjoy! "Interactive" IS possible HERE! .BUT, it REQUIRES that you DO "interact"!
I guess I worded it wrong - I'm talking about erotica in the choose your own adventure format. Where the story's written, but you make decisions to influence how it flows. It was a preview for this story that made me go full fangirl for this stuff. I liked it so much that i actually begged the guys that wrote it to let me help with the next one, and I am, but I still want more. And I refuse to believe that I'm the only one who thinks this format is perfect for sexy fiction.
I think the most common or biggest thing in this genre is pornographic visual novels, but I can rarely get into those. They're usually pretty juvenile, marketed to men, and they ask for a big time commitment.

Would a similar genre would be do an erotic chat built around a fantasy and letting the two individuals chatting develop the story as they chat?

Pretty much what I was talking about, just with larger chat windows for more dialogue maybe and as for "plot" the two parties could easily agree to that before starting their "game". "What do you want to do,?" "Homeowner catches a horny theif?"

Interactive erotica, or now I think more accurately, Choose Your Own Adventure erotica is something like this story. Where it's just like any choose your own adventure story, but with sex.
I'll definitely check that out. It's closer to what I'm talking about. VNs are definitely a thing; it's a whole industry. My question is about simple prose, choose your own adventure format erotica. I've found some that's mildly sexy, and I've found this one, which is dreams come true sexy, and that's about it. So I guess my question is answered. After this thread and quite a bit of googling, it seems like choose your own adventure erotica just isn't really a thing. Maybe that's not a surprise, since choose your own adventure as a fiction genre is usually reserved for children. I think just love the way it seems to click with erotica, letting you enjoy reading a story while also having occasional choices to make.
Looks like I have to keep encouraging the TFC guys; they're working on more. (Just not fast enough.)

Testing The Waters.
I've been mulling over doing one of these set in the fantasy world of my Darkniciad stories.
If I go forward with it, I'll probably post it on my own website with a point-n-click interface to eliminate the need for "1) Choice A - Go to section XXX". Much easier to click a link and jump to that part of the story.
Gives me the opportunity to save all the choices and generate a complete story at the end as well. All sorts of things I could do with that on my own space that I couldn't do anywhere else.
It's a lot of reading and proofing, though. That's what's held me back. I'm thinking of something pretty ambitious where there are multiple potential partners ( or more than one ).
