A perons gender doesn't really make a difference. I've read stories where the writing was just horrific, that being said for both males and females. On the other hand, I've read exceptional stories by men and women where the flow came so easily to them. Most do come here to write down about their sexual experiences, it would be nice if they just put a little more thought and effort behind their story telling.

Some stories have read like a Dick and Jane book while others flow freely like a classic novel. The more you write the better you get. Just keep the good stories coming folks!!!!!!!!

The author's gender shouldn't make a difference. If it does, the writer is at fault.

There's a news item going around lit circles that long-time, successful (over 20 novels) romance writer, Jessica Blair is an 89-year-old guy. His publisher suggested he adopt a female penname for his first book back in '93 and he stuck with it over the years.

If it has romance and eroticism, I like it more--that TENDS to be a woman but not always. A boastful swaggering perspective without tenderness, a conquest, turn me off, whether a man or woman.

Women rule but men can write as well. I'm uneducated don't even have a GED and I'm trying to write. The best novel every and the best writer every was To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee. Harper Lee is my hero! "It's a sin to kill a mocking bird" Atacus Finch the greatest father every! Well I'm sure it is modeled after her own father. I wouldn't call my father a roll model unless you want a drunken, abusive, child molesting roll model. If you do find a good psychiatric you need one.

well to be honest on this subject I would say the author's gender might make a story more interesting to the reader. What's probably most important about good stories is the author putting out effort and making sure their finished product is something they have worked hard on long on in hopes that readers will enjoy instead of just writing something quick to possibly meet a story quota or just to say you wrote a story for lush. However the gender factor comes in when trying to make the story relatable to the readers. If you think about it guys generally know what guys like and want in relationships/sex and girls generally know what girls like and want in relationships/sex. The other gender has a harder time knowing psychologically what the other one wants especially in this day in age. However there are great writers of both genders and bad writers of both genders. Best thing to do is to just try out any stories that you think you might like and follow authors in which have really great stories
