I fell asleep yesterday afternoon while reading. Was lovely
Yeah, all the time. It's pretty much the norm when I travel for work and am sleeping alone.
I do, it's nice to have the time to be able to do this occasionally. I find it a great way to relax.cL9KswgkLKC3tsM4
I actually never do, I need to be wrapped up in a blanket or I cant sleep. Yes, even in the middle of summer... I need my blanket.
It takes me a minute or so to get into said sleeping position, which occupies my hands, so I cant be reading.
I've fallen asleep many times with my face in a book... not a nice wake up but good naps
I do, usually with my face on the page I was reading, sometimes i dream of waht i've read. lol
Yeah I have fallen asleep while reading a book I usually have my favorite chair that I read in.
I fall asleep reading most nights. the only bad thing about it is when I lose my page and have to go looking for it.
I do this fairly often but I try to read daily. Once at the cottage I awoke to discover that I had poured my drink all over my book and my lap.
I have bad insomnia sometimes...so I'll read and eventually exhaustion hits and when I wake up the next day ,I'll find my book flung about the bed or buried under me
I don't read much, but when i do it is normally a book that i could stay up all night reading and normally try to do... however reading makes me tired. So like Lois, i normally wake the next morning with it under me, somewhere on the bed, or floor.
The two books I know I have fallen asleep reading is: Notebook and Nights in Rodanthe, way, way, way before even both of these films were made. I love reading all of Nicholas Sparks books.
ooh yes, and the better the book gets faster I fall into sleep.. The only problem I have with in my 'book sleep' is that I am too concerned that I won't demage the book, so the sleep is not relaxing..
I haven't fallen asleep while reading before. The book usually holds my attention and I can't put it down.
TV makes me go to sleep in about five minutes flat, though!
Negative. If the book isn't interesting enough to keep me awake, I put it down when I get sleepy.
"Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it you can either run from it...or, learn from it." - Rafiki, The Lion King
I do two things, when on a mattress. Neither one included reading, smoking, or channel surfing.
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
I actually use reading as an aid for insomnia. After a half hour, I'm drowsy enough to sleep.
When I read during the day, I always fall asleep. But at night....I can read all night. I'm an insomniac so I usually rely on pharmaceuticals to get to sleep. Nowadays, I watch documentaries on the English civil war to go to sleep to. But I usually wake up after about 4 hours and read then.
I consider falling asleep while reading a bad thing. A really good book should hold my attention... but I confess, my days are very long and I'm beat by the time I get to bed. Reading zonks me out. I read in the morning, on the bus, on my way to my day job... Its a 45 min ride, so I get some good reading in. =o)
I read every night before going to sleep, but seldom fall asleep while reading.
I've fallen asleep at times while reading. Sometimes while I'm taking down notes to a story idea I have, I would wake up with the book/notebook and pen on the floor.
