I've noticed that the new format is leaving me out in the cold. Specifically, I can no longer comment on stories as a non-gold member. That was not the case under the old format, and it needs to make a comeback.
I had the same thing this morning. If I click to leave a comment it immediately takes me to a "forbidden" page that says I need to upgrade. From Platinum/forevergold!
Clearly other people can comment so it may be an account setting (e.g. a blocked category carried over from Lush 1 that I don't know how to change here). I've mentioned it. Hopefully we can get some guidance on what to do.

Update: I can comment on most stories just fine, but not those in categories that I previously blocked in Lush 1. I can't find the settings here where I can mute/block certain genres. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it'd be appreciated.
Even so, it does seem a little incongruous to:
a) See stories on the front page that are in my blocked category list.
b) Be able to read stories in those categories.
c) Be able to score on stories in those categories.
d) But not be able to comment on those stories.

I’ve noticed the blocked category is very warped. I had blocked in v1 yet the two stories that have been parked on the front page for the last 6 weeks are visible and I can open them and read them but the link to the author is blocked. I can’t click on Shawnababy’s name to go to her profile. If I do go to her profile by another route, those two stories are not listed in her stories page.
Another thing to get fixed, no doubt
2 competition winning stories, 1 Famous story, a smattering of Editor's Picks, a handful of Recommended Reads and one Clitorides award are scattered amongst my stories.

It's nothing to do with being non-gold. I'm not a subscriber but I can comment on stories.
What I can't do is find my comments on stories. How do I do that?
I had no idea you could block categories, or how to do that. Another of this site's obscure mysteries.
