You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

It's the whole thing noll.
Little noll listening to his tunes, the kids teasing him saying the songs are from some movie little noll has never heard of, instead of the teasing being the memory it's the perceived cultural appropriation over "Hungry Eyes" by Eric Carman - a classic - that these other children are lowering by saying it's from some silly movie about a bored rich girl on vacation.
Doesn't take a psychiatrist to see this, in essence, is your personality.

LOL, I initially read Eric Cartman ;)
I wasn't referring to music that was written for the movie, but to much older songs that were on that soundtrack too. There was no way of not knowing about that movie at that time btw. even if I'd tried. And there was no bullying involved. No kids were harmed during the making of those memories.

You know... I'm not convinced that Eric Carman and Hungry Eyes weren't the inspiration for Cartman. I mean think about it, hungry eyes... Cartman is a perpetually hungry fatass (Kyle's definition) and Carman/Cartman is pretty obvious. Plus I want to say they have made fun of Dirty Dancing several times on the show. Can't just be a coincidence.

That's the only one I watched in its entirety. Little M was into the books and watched the movies as they came out but I never got past the first story in either.
And it's "The Philosopher's Stone", please. "Sorceror's Stone" is meaningless, "Philosopher's Stone" is a key concept in stories about alchemists. I really hate how the publisher basically dumbed it down for Americans. Surely the US audience for a story like that is capable of learning a little medieval lore. Mercifully, the Canadian publisher kept the British original intact so that we also got the British title for the movie.

If they dumbed it down, no wonder it was such a dud. It wasn't very entertaining and not intriguing at all.
