Outside of George Romero's Night of The Living Dead (1968) I have to go with 28 Days Later
I have a new story out! Wish You Were Here A teasing sub may I have pushed too far, but the punishment is oh so sweet.
If you haven't already, please check out my story with leftlingula. A husband and wife rediscovered each other and It all started with one simple word...
Nightshade Part 1 & Nightshade: Part 2
Top 3 in no particular order:
28 Days Later: Running zombies, scary and tense, and an amazing ending with heavy notes of social messaging.
The Unit: Most obscure pick, a pitcher/catcher try and survive. Really an every man zombie story. Effects and camera are low budget but writing and end were spot on.
Fido: Kitchy 50’s American dream community with the catch that it exists within a zombie apocalypse and zombies are controlled by collars to be domestic servants. And one lonely boy develops a friendship with his zombie. Think Lassi meets zombies
