Lamb of God and Suffocation. The two greatest metal bands of the past 20 years!!
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Unfortunately they are no longer complete.
Pink Floyd
An elastic one....?
My Karma just ran over your Dogma
Fleetwood Mac, Duran Duran, and The Police. Tried and true talent and can still sell out their shows decades later. Doesn't get any better than that.
ladies and gentlemen, the rolling stones.
Could say Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears from the 70's and 80's

Become a fan of Cold Play from newer groups
Although my favorite band is Metallica..I gotta go with The Prince of Darkness...Ozzy Osbourne

YES! Can we add the Beatles to that?
And Zac Brown Band
The original Allman Brothers Band.

Duane Allman, guitar; Dickey Betts, guitar & vocals; Gregg Allman, keyboards & vocals; Berry Oakley, bass; Jaimoe (Jai Johanny Johanson), drums; and Butch Trucks, drums.

It was over a decade before I was born but I love their original works, around the time Duane Allman and Berry Oakley were killed and before Gregg Allman married Cher.

Van Halen.... WITH David Lee Roth!

i was never a huge beatles fan (though i like a lot of their music) but there's no denying their talent and impact. i like zac brown too--one of the few acts still left in country music that i consistently enjoy.
I don't know if they can do no wrong, but Pixies and The Smiths both have a few albums I can happily listen to straight through.
Coldplay and Muse for me
Only one band that does it for me. Rush.
If not releasing an album for over twenty years, touring infrequently and keeping the fans in the dark is doing no wrong then my vote would be The Sisters of Mercy.

One of my favorite bands ever (pet), only put out a single album, did a short tour, and broke up for good. So, really, they will remain perfect forever. brilliant, right? smile

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

There's none in my mind. Even Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, The Specials and Add N to (X) had some less than perfect stuff. In the end they're only humans making music.

Maroon 5 and their videos rock! Go see "Animals"... you will understand!
Live and let live
Steve Earle.

Springsteen is awfully close, though.

And U2 was on a perfect streak until Pop, after which they kinda sucked.

Pop is the only U2 album i actually like.

At least we both agree to "fuck Indiana." smile

I saw the Pop tour and it was a great concert. But I think their last great album was Achtung Baby.
Closest I can think of would be Radiohead. But even they have faltered here and there IMHO.
