"25 or 6 to 4" is about what time it is. I heard this years ago (I did not re-google, although I suppose it is available). The band was sitting around and someone asked what time it was, and one of the guys looked at the clock and answered "25 [minutes] or 6 [i.e. 26 minutes] to four [o'clock]"

That's in the Radiohead vein of ugly sentiments sung in a pretty way. For another example, can I draw your attention to:
No Surprises is about being left in peace to commit suicide, with 'no alarms and no surprises', but if you don't listen to the words it's a lullaby.
There are LOADS of really very famous songs that are total twaddle when you listen to the words, including Bohemian Rhaspody.
