The Incredibles

A very well done movie, even when one looks at it in scrutiny.

"Any astronomer can predict with absolute accuracy just where every star will be in the universe at 11:30 tonight. He can make no such prediction about his teenage daughter."
-James T. Adams

I would go with the films that most notably changed cinema. Not to be cliche, but:

- The Godfather
- Apocalypse Now
- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
- Citizen Kane
- Seven Samurai

Less cliche choices, and some of my personal favourites:

- The Social Network
- Drive
- Take Shelter
- District 9
- Saving Private Ryan

Jean De Florette and Manon De Sources.....

It's really two films but the ending of Manon is widely regarded as the greatest in cinema history.

The Princess Bride - one of those movies where no particular element stands out, it just all goes together so well

Casablanca - ditto

The Quiet Earth - a quiet, reflective post-apoc movie with a stunning ending

The original 'War of the Worlds' - 1953, produced by George Pal

Despite it's age and the limited technology available at the time, the effects still hold up today and the story is excellent

The Departed, The Simpsons movie, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and uncut, and Stranger than Fiction all gets the Must See stamp from me. Even if you you've seen South Par, or The Simpsons I still recommend seeing the movies. We all are fans in our own ways, some people just gotta it yanked out.
